  • Was working at night with my mother, when I was a teen. We were out delivering newspapers and magazines to shops, gas stations, ... when we saw a huge mass at the side of the street to ahead. Coming closer we realized it was a horde of cows, gathered around a bus stop sign. It was wild and we had a hard time to convince the police we're not on drugs when we called them (a roaming horde of dark cows at night is definitely a road hazard they have to take care of).

  • To be fair, it's abusing women in general. It's meant to be read as stopping to abuse women and instead abuse drugs.

  • German here: what are grooming gangs supposed to be?

One of the biggest risks for local students are the crumbling school buildings.

  • Did they put her in a bottle to prevent her from rubbing her genitals into unwilling people's faces?

  • It shows, but only a little...

  • There are levels of brainrot I hopefully never achieve. Though I noticed it's become difficult to just brush my teeth in the evenings..

  • I didn't watch it either but heard they started a (physical) fight after losing the game. That could be a reason

  • Why are all his clothes three sizes too small??

  • Arthur est un perroquet!

  • Heeeey, I also had a tabby with a red dot on her forehead. She's also a very cuddly cat that wants so the attention available :D

She now lives with my brother and his family and enjoys that his daughters adore her.

  • He's not alive anymore but he was a very special cat. Very hungry and very jealous. He wanted all! :D

  • they aren't that bright and will absolutely eat more than they can handle if given the chance

Second this. Had a cat that learned how to open cabinets. He found his dry food and ate everything. All of it until he had a bowel obstruction.

And even then, at the vet, he very willingly gobbled down his medication.

  • I was 9ish and it was my first time at the beach so I didn't know anything about undercurrents. The days before were very stormy. So even though I was close to the beach I wasn't able to get out. Whenever I thought I made it, I was pulled back in and underwater. My mother totally underestimated the situation and watched. Don't know how long it actually took me but it felt like ages until I managed to crawl out.

  • I nearly drowned as a kid and have slight thalassaphobia. Throw me in the ocean and I die from a panic attack ;D

I can't swim in it. My body just shuts down. Seas and deep rivers are also no option. But the public pool is fine!

  • Watching stuff like the Expanse or the Martian made me realize how much I'm scared of this vast open space. It makes me super uncomfortable to watch those astronauts in these movies often without any form of security doint something outside in space. All I can think of is one tiny asteroid and you are gone. Drifting in this vast empty space, watching all your life control fail over time and just slowly die.So scary but also veery unlikely to happen to me :D

  • I already gave a general description. Can you ask a bit more specific based on my previous comments content?

  • In therapy I learned to assign the voices in my head to 4 different types of "people": a sad child (fostering all those hurting emotions like sadness and loneliness), a happy child (that makes me feel bliss if I let it), a demanding / mean adult (the source of the negative self talk) and a friendly balanced one (the one who should actually do the talking). Then I realized that most of the time the demanding and mean part is talking, telling me I'm not doing enough and people can't like me the way I am. So we started working on trying to mute this part and giving a voice to the others.

E.g. the friendly / balanced adult it talking to me the way I try to talk to friends when they are not good.Or when I'm sad I assign this feeling to the child and try to handle it the way I would handle a sad child and not how I handled myself in the past (it's not that bad, others can handle it too, stop being so pathetic...).

It's a lot of listening and questioning your negative self talk. To get started with this it helps to have an outsider you can talk about your negative self talk with, so they can help you build that positive voice in your head. Sometimes my therapist just said stuff like "that's just plain wrong" (like when I told her that I'm at a better place in my life than the rest of my family is just pure luck and I felt bad for not actually deserving to have a better life) when I told her about my thoughts and it helped a lot.
