  • Not "sprayed" per se but it seems squirrel monkeys pee on their hands and touch stuff to mark it. One of these guys was sitting at the back of my neck when they decided it's time to clarify who owns what. So he started to pee on his hands while still sitting there and most of it ran down my spine. The he proceeded to touch my hair and clothes.

    The smell was tolerable but being covered in monkey pee still was something I hadn't on my radar..

  • I also vote for this. Once had a cat that went on her first alone outside trip. She likely found a nice place close to some bushes to take a dump when she was surprised by another cat and got scared so much she fled mid shit back into the house. It was a huge mess and she avoided leaving the direct proximity of the house afterwards.

  • I can do that part with the eyes on purpose. It's a bit like not actively using them anymore and they're just in idle, not focused on anything so everything's blurry.Have you tried to focus on something specific instead of shaking your head?

    It also happens when my attention span sinks and my thoughts become more dominant. Kind of like a warning sign that my social batteries are nearly drained.

  • Once took care of a stray who only allowed you to pet and scratch her, as long as she didn't see you / make eye contact. As soon as she looked she got startled, ran away, waited a few secs and returned to repeat. She definitely enjoyed the touch but she didn't want to know where it came from :D

  • She's an inside cat by choice and now got her own cat friendly door to the balcony so she can bask in the sun if she wants to without being bothered by other beings from outside her realm :D

    It's also hard to take pictures of the kids without her being somewhere in the background. All other cats I know would hate being surrounded by toddlers all the time, but she enjoys the attention more than anything.
