  • I’m glad to see more Entrapranure posts here, it’s something I really missed when I left Instagram.

  • Here is mine with similar colouration (and looked more like yours when she was that age) who I believe is not Siamese. I’m not sure what her mix is, but I have a feeling she’s not purebred and I’m doubtful she has Siamese in her.

  • I didn’t think I liked horror until I watched the original Alien. Now it’s up there for my favourite movie of all time. I’m still a bit nervous to branch out since I hate jump scares, but maybe I’ll check out the Thing. I’ve heard good things.

  • Am Canadian, can confirm. Can’t exactly compare to American prices since I’m not American and also haven’t visited in years, but it is very expensive to live here, at least in any medium or large city. Smaller towns aren’t too bad for housing costs, but then grocery and gas prices go up. There’s places that are reasonable in certain aspects but then they’re very expensive in others. I’ve got family all across the country, literally coast to coast and north to south. West coast of BC to east coast of Newfoundland, northern stretches of Iqaluit to southern tip of Ontario and everywhere in between, and no one has a low cost of living all around. I’m sure there’s places cheaper than something like NYC or LA or something but overall I’d guess Canada is probably more expensive than most of the US.

  • I thought I was the only one. Genuinely my favourite theme they’ve used.

  • Ah, makes sense. Very good info, thank you!

  • What other music do you like?

These days, mostly rock music, but I also listen to a lot of folk/singer-songwriter too. I know Steely Dan a little bit, and Dire Straits are one of my absolute favourite bands, but I’ll check out Sultana and Chuck Mangione. I’ll also check out Joe Pass and Grand Green too.

Jazz more than rock is sometimes more oriented around composers than artists

So like classical then? Because that’s what I grew up listening to, so I know that quite well. I’ll check out some standards and go from there, too. Thanks for the tip.

  • Thanks for the detailed write up! I appreciate all the info. I’ll definitely be checking all those artists out.

  • I also love jazz but I’m not well versed in it. I know some of the really big names (Miles Davis, John Coltrane, etc) and I’ve been getting into Count Basie lately but I don’t know where else to look. I’ve tried the usual “X greatest jazz tunes/albums/artists of all time” lists but it’s a bit overwhelming sometimes with all the music that gets recommended. I mostly like jazz piano (Oscar Peterson has been a personal favourite) but I also wanna get into big band jazz stuff too. My current favourite non-solo-piano jazz album is Sketches of Spain (Davis), specifically the first tune (Concierto de Aranjuez). Do you happen to have any recommendations?

  • Jesus died around AD 30-33. AD doesn’t mean After Death, it means Anno Domini, or Year of our Lord, referring to the number of years after his birth. So if Paul was born AD 5, Jesus would’ve been 5 years old when Paul was born.

I think, it’s been a while since I’ve looked into this stuff

  • Islay

    Apollo

  • So I was curious and put it into a converter, USD 3.84 $/gal. is equivalent to CAD 138.0 ¢/L. The gas station by my place was 169.9 the other day which is equivalent to 4.73 for our southern neighbours.

  • Yep, it was a very expensive and invasive procedure but it had to be done. We were going to regardless since you should always fix your cats but in addition to that, having both testicles and a uterus can lead to a lot of health complications in cats. Most commonly a far higher chance at getting cancer in that area.

  • Born with both testicles and a uterus. All male on the outside, all female on the inside. Kinda neat, but unfortunately very expensive to fix. It had to be done though, 1) because you should fix your cats anyway, and 2) because apparently it causes a lot of health issues if you don’t fix it, including a very high chance for cancer in that region.

  • So is my cat, who I worship, so that checks out.

Cat in question, who is very deserving of worship.

  • My grocery store has had these for a while. Dynamic price reductions are coming too. Instead of a set % off, it’ll calculate the most optimal percentage to take off based on popularity of the product, how long until expiry, etc. Just a heads up.

  • I’m currently watching Handmaid’s Tale for the first time (the show, not the movie. I haven’t seen the movie). I’ve never read the book either so no spoilers please. Anyway, it’s eerie how many things are lining up. Like you said, supposed to be a warning, not a guidebook.

  • That win was bullshit anyway. USA had too many men on the ice and didn’t get a penalty for it, but then Canada got a 4 minute penalty for high sticking during what should’ve been their power play.

  • Dark Souls would do something similar with names in PvP. For the most part it wasn’t a huge deal but being a medieval fantasy game, a lot of players you’d face would be called “___ K***ht”.
