  • Definitely counts. I've never had my calves look this good until I started carrying mail 10 years ago. All that stepping in and out of the truck and walking up steps. Can you believe that they pay me to do it?? It's like I'm scamming them

  • Filthy Frank made a video about the "born in the wrong generation" part 11 years ago, fun to see that's still an ongoing thing

  • .22 also comes in shotshells, tiny little versions of bird shot. I've used them on rattlesnakes when needed. We called it snake shot for that reason.

Not saying this is safe in this scenario, but better than a 12 or 20 gauge bird shot.

  • New Vegas and Fallout 3 remasters are confirmed, as well as Obsidian working on another Fallout with Bethesda oversight and Fallout 5 in pre production with production ramping up after Elder Scrolls 6 releases.

  • Patrolling the Mojave almost makes me wish for nuclear winter

  • Sceptre makes dumb panels still, limited range of options but better than being spied on if you just need a replacement screen.

  • Literally just a DIY version of the MO-RA radiator from Watercool. I've seen people run these into their basements for silent and efficient cooling for fully water-cooled systems with great results.

  • Mine works, but I guess it depends on your setup. My main GPU is a 7800XT and my secondary is a 3090 I use for video encode/decode. OBS while streaming and recording simultaneously (if I ever have time), video editing and HandBrake conversions. It just works with EndeavourOS. I can do ray tracing on the 7800 XT but it's not something I care about in games so I always turn it off.

I'm sure if I ran dual 3090's in SLI it would be a pain in the ass but that's why I didn't try for that when upgrading my system, plus the power draw.

  • Did this getting my wife's photos from her iPhone on our server a couple years ago, it works perfectly fine as long as you have storage on the phone still. If a lot of the photos are only in your iCloud backup, it'll have to download them locally do transfer to Immich. We kept running into an issue where it was stuck in a stupid loop of filling up the phone, then trying to offload to iCloud, then trying to redownload them to transfer to Immich. Only a problem if you have more photos/videos than your phone can store and if you're doing it directly from the phone. If everything is already backed up on iCloud you can use something like icloudpd (GitHub link) to do the transfer instead. I have not tested this method

  • Did they just not see the backlash and class actions filed against PayPal/Honey, CapitalOne, etc. for this same affiliate code swapping scheme and just decided they'd do it anyway? Surely they had to have seen that, or did they think it was a good idea done blatantly and are trying to be sneakier about it?

  • Fight Club (1999). If you don't know the twist, don't read anything about it, just watch it. I really like David Fincher's films but this is definitely my favorite.

Honorable mentions: Poor Things (2023) Parasite (2019) Midsommer (2019) Requiem for a Dream (2000) Oldboy (2003)

  • The OOP just changed which walled garden they're living in at this point. Even with ad blocking through DNS, etc you're still heavily reliant on Google allowing you to run apps or even web apps in Chrome.

If you want the MacBook feel and power, just install Asahi Linux, you've already got the hardware.

  • Oh no where I grew up it was very literal, my parents said it and even teachers when kids fell on the playground at school.

  • US, specifically in the country. Fall off your bike and scrape your knee, rub some dirt in it and keep going, for example.

  • "Just rub some dirt in it, you'll be fine"

Ah yes, introduce who knows what kind of bacteria, possible fecal matter and foreign material into an open wound and be surprised when it gets infected.

I'll admit, I did this as a kid many times but that doesn't mean it's a good idea

  • Listening to this guy made me genuinely angry, it was just so many non answers and "the lessons are the report" and being convinced for some reason that Jon kept asking for a smoking gun when he never said those words. It's shit like that that shows why the DNC is the way it is

  • Toyota did it lazily in my '21 Rav4, just pull the fuse for the modem and it doesn't care. Just don't let a dealer plug into the system in case that data can still be downloaded physically

  • UK specifically right now, will probably spread soon to other places.

While Sony won’t be requiring age verification for UK and Ireland PlayStation accounts until June, you can verify early and avoid losing access to features. Both Microsoft and Sony are making age verification mandatory in the UK as more parts of the Online Safety Act come into force this year.

  • I've only blocked a few accounts mainly for being absolute dipshits or spam bots, most are banned now anyway.

For everything else, you get either a nice tag labeled "clown" or if you're clearly a MAGA chud, "MAGA clown". Several tankies are tagged as such, plus a few I've seen that are possibly anti LGBT+ but have also posted about being LGBT+ so I'm unsure on them.

Basically just don't be a dick or give misinformation and you're pretty much fine with me.
