I bought a cheap Pixel tablet and flashed Graphene to it a couple days ago. It was easier than modding my 3ds and everyone memes about how easy that is. It's a bit mind-blowing (and maybe a bit concerning) that a web browser is capable of doing that though.
That actually varies by instance, it's been an issue because the lead mod of several tiny communities is under 18 and had to move their communities to an instance they're actually allowed to be on.
Yeah I lived in a small town for a while too. My friend worked as a PCA taking care of disabled adults in a care home. When he came out as trans, he got death threats and hit by cars multiple times while biking - and as someone who was stealth and also biked, those were absolutely murder attempts.
Also most small towns in the US have meth problems. It's easier to ignore, but it's still rampant.

I saw the one in the 2000s in the theater. I thought it was fun and the subterranean dinos were neat, but apart from that it wasn't very memorable. But I've read the novel and... I'd say the exact same thing about the novel. So it's a great adaptation. Verne is fun, but Wells had something to say.
