I'm a lot of things, but not a Velociraptor

  • Not even remotely close. I saw him first and before seeing the rest of the faces I already knew that this was an usian thing so he was going to be "a major evil".

Fact is, aside religion, we'd have a lot in common, including hating the US so, if any, it would give for an interesting evening for my kids and a more interesting post-evening chat with him.

The other 3, in my eyes, are way, waaaaaaaaaaaaaay worse.

  • My previous EV, an extremely humble (and cheap) Dacia Spring, got hit by a semi on the highway. It was totaled, completely destroyed. It finished upside down and even then, it didn't catch fire and the doors opened. Also didn't lose any of the wheels. I'd say that was the most unintended use case of the car and still, a barely 15k euros car ended in a better shape than a $75k+ monstrosity that is marketed as a truck "for the apocalypse".

  • A third Cybertruck drove over a highway cable barrier, lost a wheel, and burned for hours despite the fire department’s best efforts on-scene.

Wha... what... what in the ever-fucking love do you mean it lost a wheel?!

I... I'm at a loss here, you... cars are not supposed to lose wheels?!

  • So they are eating slightly more healthy than someone eating boot soles as only meal of the day, they are being deployed for months without rest and they are dying in combat (or combat-related operations) BUT they are not at war so them and their families can't get benefits from it BUT ALSO they can't return home because they not at war but they are at war at the same time (which is not a war because the Congress didn't say so).

Are you trying to piss off the army and make the people with weapons turn against you? Because this is how you piss off the army and make the people with weapons turn against you.

  • If she were German specimen, I'd say that this is her normal beach pigmentation hours before getting their characteristic boiled crab skin tone. But I don't know much about Irish specimens sunbathing rituals.

  • No way in hell I'm eating that salmon raw if it hasn't been flash frozen first (which, I hope, the chef has done since she paid a lot of money for it). Anisakis is something you don't want to fuck around with.

  • Poor sony is fucking over its customers and now can't stand when they push back? I'm sure it will go fine for them. After all, Nintendo's been doing the same for years and look where they are.

Gamers* are crybabies who will never seriously boycott a company because god forbid they skip the latest release of the game they follow. The gaming hellscape we have right now is 100% on the gamers because if they started boycotting when shit started to happen, we wouldn't be here now. But alas, I suppose it's just too complicated to ask these people to vote with their wallet for once.

Oh well, enjoy the future you are creating.

*Disclaimer: I understand that not all the people who play are like this, but I also understand that critical-thinking gamers are a small minority with barely any power even if they boycott. Sony knows this, and that's the reason why it's doing this; the userbase loss won't be that big.

  • 3rd person star craft?

Starcraft Ghost existed. Then they canned it and we'll never see it finished.

  • Odd indeed. I'd never say that, because I'm definitely a human and wouldn't need to say I am one.

  • Not so long ago I read an article about how Trenitalia is among the best European rail companies in all the metrics, from price-quality to delays (or lack thereof).

Italians complain about trenitalia as if it were a national sport and they rarely can't understand that the country has one of the best railway systems of Europe. This kind of news about other European rail companies are always a joy to share with an Italian "tossing down the calendar" (Italian idiom for saying blasphemies) about trenitalia because they simply can't process it.

  • The 67-year-old married father of seven

Oh... he's just a family man, don't you all see? He's a married father of seven! Maybe he did horrible things to a child (or more than one) but which married father hasn't ever molested repeatedly a minor? Which married father hasn't ever kidnapped a kid? We're all here virtue signaling him when he's just the average (republican) married father... have a little shame you all!

  • They still support him, they just can't afford shit like the rest of the country. But they will keep voting R no matter what because they are that dumb.

  • GitHub Has an Availability Problem again . Is It not Time to Look Elsewhere already ?

  • Well well well, if it isn't the consequences of my own actions!

Ah... sweet sweet schadenfraude... Can't help feeling good when a moron is enjoying what they voted for.

  • If it ever happened to you that after looking from a certain angle to a bright light you sneeze, that's because you confused your body!

Our brain uses the trigeminal nerve #or several functions, and it goes through all our face so, sometimes, when looking at a bright light, it will get excited and the brain will think that the stimulous means "I need to sneeze" triggering a sneeze when your nose is actually fine.

  • And I'm talking about being confused for an inmigrant by ICE and consequently beaten/shot to death. Or involved in a violent arrest by the police and consequently beaten/shot to death, or simply caught in a road rage incident with a fellow republican nazi and consequently beaten/shot to death. That kinda stuff.

  • I'm also wishing violent ones. After all, republicans are nazis, and the only good nazi is the dead nazi.

  • despite being permanent residents with no criminal record.

Ah, see? That's where you are wrong. You do have criminal records. You are the wrong type of immigrant: the non-billionaire brown-ish one.

  • Yes, that's indeed factually inaccurate. 30% voted actively for this, another 30% decided they didn't care enough about this to vote against so decided they were ok with whatever the results of the elections, so it's actually around 60%.
