  • My very first conspiracy theory: Space fuckery. I'll lay out the dots and you can connect them.

On the morning of March 19 or 20, I observed what I was certain at the time was my first meteor sighting. This was in the greater Dallas area.

Skip to Sunday I found a story about meteor sightings reported in Houston and other areas. The sightings were from the previous day, March 21.

Since last weekend there have been further meteor reports across the US.

On Thursday March 26 there was a visible missile launch from the Cape Canaveral Space Force station.

This is all in good fun for me. But with this administration and the blunders in Iran, it won't surprise me to learn later that they had something to do with it.

  • I still can't get past how maga painted themselves into a corner. Completely bumblefuck blindsided by the consequences of their stupid plan.

All the performative market manipulation and tough guy prayers they can muster won't get them out of this one. While the dumbfounded clown cries off the makeup it makes everyone laugh harder.

I just hate that he's dragging with him so many of us who never fell for any of it. I'd see him dragged like Hector.

  • Just had precisely the same thought! Plastic mug atop a veiny meat missile. Republicans have normalized cringe for themselves

  • I put my leg through the ceiling of a General's office. He wasn't the commander of the base mind you, he was the commander over several bases.

Someone had asked my team to repair one of his lights, and his office was in a WWII era building that had had a facelift. So most everything you could see was newer looking, but that did not apply to the base structure of the building, which included the area above the ceiling. Took a bad step and CRASH, huge mess.

Lucky on two points: He wasn't in his office, and I was able to grab support so as to not fall all the way through.

His secretary heard the commotion and yelled, "oh gosh, are you ok?" Bless her, she was concerned for me. Friends/coworkers laughing their asses off in the ceiling with me.

"Not sure. I think I probably need CPR!" Couldn't resist saying this. Friends still howling.

"Oh jeez, I'll call the Fire Department".

"No, not necessary. I'm fine now, thank you."

I never did see the General, and they didn't want me in his office to clean the mess.

So this was my biggest mess in a figurative sense due the circumstances. Which would have been orders of magnitude worse had the General been at his desk.

  • Eat shit Roberts, you're one of the biggest enablers in all this

  • I know this is off topic, but the one silver lining I see for the US is how Trump broadcasts all his whims. He owns this war, and even the Teflon Twat won't be able to deny it in the future.

He also shares his strategic plans to his adversaries before he moves. This is what having a reality show host in charge looks like.

  • Indeed he does. The concepts of responsibility, wisdom, respect, humility...he is incapable of grasping any of those and many more.

Our enemies hate us even more. Our allies may remain allied on paper, but we already see them turning away in practice. Obviously they're right to do so.

Trump is squandering whatever good will and consideration the US has built with the world since its founding...and he's oblivious to any of that.

  • Exactly this. And he knows what he implies with his lies about war. To demonstrate:

What is the #1 comment when someone talks about war overseas? Thank you for your service. And he's made his response to that a regular part of his overall lie

  • So the Trump goons come, some uninvited, to put on a show during a hearing to try and distract. This judge will have none of it and is vocal about the nonsense, so the clowns accuse the judge of theatrics.

It's MAGA 101 shit. I hope more judges follow this man's example more often.

  • Strongman look weak and cry Help

  • "I made a huge mess I can't control that fucks us all over. Help or I will, uh, I'll..."

  • For good or ill I still use it for mail, hell with 'em! I just don't want to go through the hassle of brainstorming all those who have it and then changing it where necessary.

  • Hotmail from 1998.

  • I think what you're failing to consider is that this kind of decorum and protocol DOES mean a lot to conservatives and they fucking know it. Sure it's by and large moot by it's own merit, but conservatives for years have obsessed over this shit.

So if the story reaches more of them because of attention received, all the better. And if they sit on their hands while this and other factors bother them internally, maybe many will quietly avoid voting.

  • The same administration that created an agency to eliminate exactly this type of thing during the same term.

  • "The love of money is the root of all evil"

So they threw that out the window, along with the ten commandments they love to emblazon on things, and the examples Jesus set for them. These are the foundations of being a good GOP Christian.

  • Ah well, last week she gave her kiss of death to Crockett in the Dem Senate primary in TX. And I think Crockett, had she been nominated, would have gone on to lose in November...so all the better.

But it would be interesting to see how the numbers would differ without Harris' endorsement.

  • People give Texas a lot of shit and rightly so, but Oklahoma produces quite a cesspool of bitter, self-righteous fuckwits who really believe they know and have the right of things.

  • To your point, the android face makes her neck look that much more gross.

I know that's below the belt, but that's where Noem spends all her time anyway.
