  • Gender wars? This is not about gender wars, actually quite the opposite. For as long as you have to label things, there cannot be a unity.

All the hypocritical people here disagreeing with me while demanding toilets that are not labeled as Male/Female, demand that they get labeled in other places. This makes absolutely no sense.

Again, no unity if you expect to be treated as a different label. Unity works the opposite way.

  • Super important to mention that she is transgender. Wouldn’t be a real headline without it. Next I expect accurate penis lengths in headlines, too. Or the volume of a nipple in a weird freedom unit.

Edit: Glad that the fediverse showed once more to have absolutely zero knowledge how sociology works. Keep on believing that mentioning gender changes in a headline is going to solve issues and unite people. And maybe read a book or two how humans actually work.

Edit2: I am really amused by the comments here. Need to remember doing more posts like this in the future, because it shows how derailed a lot of Americans are. Keep on voting Trump!

  • Wait. This is legit the first time I heard RFK Jr.’s voice. Was he always like that?

  • Broke the law? I am not sure about that. Huggingface obviously can claim damages and sue OpenAI for it. But they also profit from the free ads. And Sam Altman gave them some nice gifts afterwards, I am pretty sure.

  • I just checked the code and unfortunately, they do not support loading the SQLite file into memory yet. Even worse, the change would be substantially. It appears they currently abuse the database connection a bit. They basically create a new connection for each operation. This does not matter if you can read/write in parallel, but that’s only the case with NVMe and certain drivers. So all SATA (SSD and HDD) suffer from the current mechanic. So just loading it into memory is not going to solve the issue. Jellyfin needs to change architecturally, so that a database connection is reused. I don’t know why or who implemented the current logic, but it is clearly done by someone not understanding how databases work.

Depending on the mood and time, I will come up with a solution that is solid. For now, you are stuck with the current logic.
