  • The desire for convenience.

  • Bribes still can't conflict with current bribes, blackmails, and other conflicts of interests with certain special interests.

The True Patriots are all down for the Data Center Fractastic natural gas adventures in Texas, brought to you by the letters T, MIC, and OIL.

  • Yep.

It will have to be those with a strong commitment to community and preparation. Which will mean people with "faith" in the future they probably won't see.

So, that will exclude most of the narcissistic oligarchy. Though some are narcissistic enough about their own lineage to spawn a cult of personality for the continuation of their brood...

They will however continue to hoard resources enough to weather the more likely minor civil disturbances their actions are certain to cause. Wich is the real motive for some.

  • So, ever been to Utah? No saying they are fully prepared... But their mutant spawn may make it out to kill each other over the scraps if it's not a total wipe of life.

  • Mrrrp

    Jump
  • From my last 2 dogs, one could let me know a number of specific things based on context. (Including, the spin that means: I need you to open this specific gate, or I'm just going to jump it, and not come home for a day.)

The other one just had I need something NOW, and then various emotions (and being hungry was an emotion, and he had it all the time lol).

  • I assume the Afd is just waiting for the Americans to come "liberate" them with an impressive UNO reverse of WWII.

"We're moving at a faster pace!"

Sing along every one! (Sounds of Mel Brooks dying)

  • I essentially just did this as a total beginner and it worked. (I have built my own gaming PCs and took basic/Pascal programming in HS, but have no real network experience)

I had some old enterprise mini PCs, added a second NIC to one and put Opnscence and pihole VMs on it. I ended up doing PCI Passthrough for the new NIC for the Opnscence VM so the WAN/modem is isolated from the host. Bit a simple bridge works. The original management LAN NIC is just in bridge mode (so the host and VMs can share it).

I'm probably too new to be offering advice, so I'll just pile on the encouragement. You can do it!

  • I love that we can build a car from the ground up, as long as it meets a bare minimum safety standard...

Yet somehow we can't have the right to repair certain vehicles due to "safety" (aka intellectual property law and rent seeking)

  • Gonna need that ID for the Internet son.

  • Well I enjoy the "deep political commentary" where the corpse of democratic socialism seeks vengeance and must be put down by the uni party.

GWAR is so deep/s. (Edit or did I mean derp/S.)

  • Welcome to the terror watch list, citizen.

Your documented history of criticism of Facisim is a red flag.

Now, don't start getting critical of unregulated crony capitalism or the masked men will show up.

  • To be fair...

    I do like pizza

  • As for calling it a cyborg...

We do need to better define these terms now that they actually affect our lives and not just games and books for nerds.

Entities with artificial minds in biological bodies are typically categorized as androids, bioroids, synths, or biological robots, depending on the franchise or context. I already see "reverse centaur" for AI driven human labor, bit that is not quite what we are talking about.

I remember the old game Star Control (1991) using a new word "Psytron" for the mode where AI controlled the strategic layer and a human controlled the ship (opposite of Cyborg mode, which did the opposite) so as a kid I used that for years without knowing they just made it up... I suspect the term "Psytron" is a portmanteau likely derived from "Psychic" or "Pilot" and "Electron," mirroring the "Cyborg" (Cybernetic Organism) naming convention.

Let's keep working on this, as a society... Lol.

  • The best I can do is some soma to help you in this Brave New World.

  • Empathy, right at you man. (You deleted, so I'll skip the details).

  • Should have attached it to the M4 rail and claimed it's a standard issue anti-drone optical wire clipper.

Edit: The larger ones are effective against TOW missiles. That's why they call them TOW clippers.

  • It represents Kafka's allegory for existential alienation, dehumanization, and the absurdity of modern life.

  • What if I connect it to a 3D printer and then download a car with a gun in the trunk.

    Think of the children.

  • That's to keep the right wing terrorists, AKA Maga base, from trying to kill them before they complete the grift. 4D psyop.
