  • I think you could interpret some of her characteristics as hyperfocusing on very specific interests.

  • There are plenty of bugs under that rock over there.

  • Is that the current state of film sequels? The sequel from ten to twenty years ago that we all thought was bad is not nearly as bad as the latest sequel, what has happened to films?!

  • For the commuities/topics I'm interested in Mastodon has a very weird vibe that clashes with the vibe of the communities on Lemmy and sometimes it feels like the Lemmy communities are getting brigaded by Mastodon users. Also Mastodon comments are very "noisy", every comment needs an @someone to work and every second word is a hashtag. If I check out Mastodon on its own it just seems like a lot of people screaming into the void, but I never understood the appeal of Twitter either.

  • Never had a problem with them on a bicycle, the induction loops are usually visible, just make sure to properly cross them. Maybe the material of the bicycle makes a difference, mine is steel.
