  • Yeah thats the main problem for me, Ive run both Jellyfin and Plex in the past when plex used to charge users to watch on mobile. but Jellyfin Id always have to help create their account, show them how to add my domain and stuff, only for them to need help again a month down the line when they want to use it.

Now that plex got rid of that whole mobile charge stuff if the server owner has a plex pass it made it much simpler.

it is still annoying when adding a new user showing them how to disable all the ad supported stuff but usually its a one time thing, after that if they forget their password or whatever its between them and plex. plus plex is much simpler as far as I know when your users also start to run servers, they just invite you back and you have access to everything on one account

  • I think all the fast food places near me are like this, taco bell, burger king, Weiner schnitzel. For the most part its been fine the few times I've gone, if you ask it too hard a question someone immediately jumps in like they are listening on the call anyway

  • Plus there's so much more music each day it all gets diluted and hard to find.

I also always felt like as we move on artists will be much smaller as far as their following, like their time of fame will be smaller and shorter. Comparing like Beethoven who is world famous for generations to like metallica who is pretty big then like Taylor swift who is also huge but I feel each window getting shorter lived as more people spread out their preferences amongst all the artists and people use algorithms instead of buying an artists CD

  • I was surprised a old coworker went to church one time he mentioned it as he seemed like not the type.

I asked him why he goes and he told me he would probably kill someone if he didn't go to church and learn what was right or wrong and it was super weird to me that some people have like no morales/empathy built in
