  • Haha its a Compaq server rack I found on Craigslist, I have a media server in there, a low power one that does backups, and another i7 server that's unused. I have my fiber ont, hue bridge, some raspberry pis in a server case so they get cooled from the fans.

  • I'm a super heavy sleeper but when we had our baby its like any baby sound is kept in the light sleep category and it wakes me up.

    Its bizarre because I have the memory of hearing the sound and processing it while I was asleep, like was I even sleeping or does my memory just scrub everything until triggered like some game recording software to save the last x minutes

  • A lot of what I like about my bolt is how much its like a gas car. Everything has buttons for the most part, it has a start and stop button etc. A lot of my coworkers have teslas so I ride around in them often and its what put me off from even considering them

  • Yeah Chevy got rid of the start button on the 2027 and it turns on* when you close the door. Its one of the common complaints I read about on the subreddit. It would annoy me as sometimes I dont need the car on and automatic things annoy me

  • My first doorbell from them died pretty quick too, ended up getting the poe one and its been pretty good, hopefully keeps going for a lot more. The chime sucks though. They just came out with some loud speaker that is supposed to also work with the doorbell but pretty pricey

    Yeah like today was sunny but by the time I finished it was overcast, very bizarre. We are generally sunny most of the year so its only the wind. Another thing I bought with this stuff was some nice metal clothes pins so hopefully they are much better than what I've used in the past
