Wherever I wander I wonder whether I'll ever find a place to call home...

  • I read somewhere that Mick Jagger (or maybe it was Keith Richard) wrote the riff of Satisfaction in his sleep.

He woke up, grabbed a tape recorder and went "Bum bum. Bumbumbuummm bumbumbum." And sang the one line "I, can't, get noo, sat-tis-fac-tion." And then went back to sleep.

Forgot about it the next morning till they were at band practice and someone found the tape and played it.

  • I dreamed my root was integral in her summation.

  • "Just stop being depressed" as if it's a choice...

  • The ones being smug are those who insult anyone who says to vote, while throwing out all their keyboard warrior battlecries while also doing nothing, and then always having an excuse why it's not their responsibility to do the thing they're shaming everyone else for not doing.

  • Since trump got back in office, over half of my mail and packages have been opened and taped back shut (without the usual slip notifying me of inspection).

Usually they do an ass job taping it closed too, things could literally just fall out and a couple times I've had items missing that were on the manifest...

  • Somewhere in Eastern Europe? That's the only place where I've seen C pronounced "ts"

  • Yeah that was a low-hanging fruit they left on the branch

  • L is for Llefrith

  • That doesn't mean they're stupid. If you say "V" over a phone or radio, it can be hard to tell if you said V or B. Likewise with M and N, and plenty of others.

The pneumonic phonetic alphabet (the real one, not this shitpost) disambiguates the sounds so there's no confusion. People who don't know pneumonic phonetic alphabet sometimes pick a random word or name to use for the same reason, i.e. "V as in vagabond"

If you're spelling something pneumonically phonetically to someone who doesn't know the pneumonic phonetic alphabet, it can be hard for them to catch the sounds they're not used to. Especially if you don't tell them what you're doing before you start spelling, it can sound like you're just throwing random words at them.

To illustrate the point, pick a language you don't know, and ask someone who speaks that language to spell out a word in their alphabet. Or maybe find some videos online of spelling quizzes in other languages. Most of the letters probably begin with the same sounds they make. So if your theory is true, then if you aren't stupid it should be easy to catch what they're spelling. Not the case though.

  • That's the point. It's saying you no longer have to do that. Because now you can just say

Mnemonic Aisle Row Bravo Lima Eye

(Which is confusing as fuck, because this is a shitpost and not remotely accurate, for anyone who didn't pick up on that)

  • This is giving me an aneurysm...

  • It was at a petting zoo. It was thoroughly socialized and spent time around children all day.

  • What a fucking coward. Tased and shot a donkey to death because it came up to say hello?

Just goes to show, you don't have to be a criminal to distrust the police and avoid them.

  • Tell me what programming languages straight women like, because that's what I need to study!

  • Okay? Trite expressions aside, that doesn't really change anything I said...

  • And then cries when other countries do it to them

  • Trump is a symptom of America's evil lol, not the cause of it.

I never said he was the cause of america's evil. If he's a symptom though then that's a pretty weak argument for naming him a "great man". But I don't really expect argumentative consistency from .ml users anymore.

I would argue he is the most American American.

I literally said he epitomizes everything that's wrong with the country, so you're not contradicting me.

You know there was plans for a Canadian invasion for decades before trump was in power?

    Source?

The faster you collapse, the better off the rest of the planet will be.

You have no clue what would replace it, and no reason to believe it wouldn't be far worse.

  • Just take the L.

  • Your logic is that trump, who epitomizes everything that's wrong with america, and is deliberately provoking and permitting the evil that has always lurked within it, and is causing widespread suffering and devastation throughout the world, at home as well as abroad, is somehow redeemable because he's accelerating the destruction of the US, dismantling its institutions which represent its only redeeming qualities, and destabilizing the tenuous balance that has only ever existed during its best times?

Not surprising at all for an .ml user. You don't care if the world suffers as long as you get to watch america burn. Do you not realize that if trump succeeds in destroying the US government as an institution, then whatever ends up replacing it is likely to be far, far worse?

Fake-leftist accelerationist will do all sorts of mental gymnastics to justify supporting maga, while simultaneously trashing every progressive who runs for office.
