    Well, at least we generated Linux itself somehow and then completely failed to keep it here. I still remember how little adoption there was at the start, and how almost everyone who was using Linux back then was regarded as some sort of an idiot savant.

    I mean I was an idiot savant, but not because I was using Linux.

  • My problem is that as I grow older and older, I find it harder and harder to be arsed to write any code. LLM fixes that problem beautifully. I have 20+ years experience so it kinda works. If you don't have it might not, at the current moment.

  • I prefer sr.ht, but I admit it's a bit too spartan for some people with its original git pull request style via emails.

    On a positive side, it'll keep you from getting as many dumb PRs and issues.

  • Finland has done something like this and the few days of winter where it's very cold and no wind are kinda rough. There was a day recently where I spent 50 euros on electricity alone. And I have somewhat efficient heating tech like a geothermal heat pump.
