I like computers, trains, space, radio-related everything and a bunch of other tech related stuff. User of GNU+Linux.I am also dumb and worthless.My laptop is ThinkPad L390y running Arch.I own RTL-SDRv3 and RSP1 clone.

  • Depends on water though. I find it impossible to fully wash off shampoo or shower gel with hard water, but bar soap will wash off easily and fully.I don't know what's really going on there though.

    I don't think that's specifically a Linux phone issue as much as developing for mobile devices. This is kind of thing I've always seen with custom ROMs.

    For example, my old Moto G5s Plus is running PixelExperience 11 (now discontinued), and it is mostly working, except for secondary camera and encryption. There's often things that don't quite work in these cases.

    I stopped using them even for card payments when they shadow banned me (always redirected to "We're sorry..." error page), probably for using single-use virtual cards. Their support simply told them that's not supported (even though it worked).People on Discogs where I wanted to pay basically told me "Just open a PayPal account, bro.", so I contacted the seller to cancel my order and deleted my account.

  • Neither. Network-wise everything would work, but other Firefox tabs. Especially when I tried uploading multiple files at once, which caused too much seeking.I was still able to stream from VLC, while the same stream would time out in Firefox.

    Anyway, I just had to reboot due to a certain runaway situation. Something happened with UDF-fs that caused 100% CPU through excessive logging.

  • Dependency... magic. Currently I am having to wait for Firefox not loading websites due to a slower DVD drive I am uploading from to cloud in another tab.Maybe some internal QoS thingy where it thinks the network connection is slow.

    And recently I had issues with laptop taking a very long time to resume from sleep or turning screen back on due to iio-sensor-proxy, a program responsible for... at least determining physical screen orientation.
