  • I haven’t used Windows in over 20 years. I’m not sure what random things you’d need it for. In fact when I fix people’s Windows machines I oftentimes have to use Linux to do it.

  • Who the fuck still goes to YouTube?

  • What I drive: 2009 Audi A3

What I want to drive: cheap Chinese EV

I don’t drive often so a huge 50,000 USD loan for some gigantic EV is just not in the cards.

  • What is it about our species that we can’t just keep to ourselves? Was the “pageant” really necessary in the first place?

  • I get that $233 for a lunch is a lot, but frankly it’s really embarrassing to be showing off such a small amount.

  • My main frustration is that the majority of instances are hosted in privacy-hostile jurisdictions.

  • Around 2010-2015 I flew with American Airlines and Delta a lot and never had a bad experience. I’m surprised Delta was horrible.

  • I’ve flown Frontier several times without issue. The one that always gets me is Volaris in Mexico. Both seem to use the same style of web application / mobile app (horrible) but at least they use Airbus planes?

  • Why would the dictator “give” a new constitution after the country burns down? Wouldn’t the country burning down imply “the dictator” is gone?

  • Any chance you could just link directly to whatever it was you wanted to link to? This looks like a lot of layers of redirection going on and in the end it only redirects to example.com for some reason.

  • “Electric shower?”

  • Ping me when you circle back to this, we might surface more examples granted we’ve still got bandwidth for it.

  • I can’t even read quotes of him speaking, it’s just so bad. And when I do hear it it just sounds like someone whose throat is encrusted with caked-in layers of stale McDonald’s and KFC fryer oil.

  • Pretty much daily working from home in southern California. My dogs and I get pretty antsy without fresh air and noises.

  • an updated Java

    And you lost me

  • This feels like a broad generalization to me. I typically make many trips per week for just a few items; I don’t need a list.

Other times I might make a list because I’m buying more or I’m planning on cooking a new recipe.

I just can’t imagine someone living an hour drive from the grocery store using a big list has “sharper thinking” than someone that lives next door to it and never needs a list.

  • Just assuming he is for the sake of argument.

  • Exactly my take. Just stop watching that trash.
