  • You don't home the algorithm. It hones you. Finds what you engage with the most and exploits you. Every short form video site does this. It makes it addictive to you so you stay on it and see more ads.

    It doesn't care what you like. Only what keeps you on there. Even if it's things you hate. And your probably thinking "oh lll just say I don't like it". They don't care. Corporations don't care. They just want to maximize the profit from you.

  • Ads are manipulative and predatory, if you don't have a good extensive ad block on all your devices, you will fall for them even if you think you ignoring them, they are made and designed for you to get stuff subconsciously not knowing you are doing this. What really bothers me is how it actually can fuck up elderly and disabled people, had a ex who's parents actually bought things without realizing it because a ad played and they didn't know they was being coerced of emulated, they bought so so much things they didn't need with the Little money they had.

    I will always provide help to people around me on how to block as much ads as possible on there machines, however possible. Fuck the corporations.

  • I live in America I just have a giant dumpster that everyone in my complex uses for anything and everything, we have no recycling programs here and the so called recycling parts you can do to recycle all go.to the landfill also.

    I don't know how richer people in houses have to do with them, but they got 2 bins one for "recycling" and one for everything else. Don't know if they need to pay for them though. But yet 90% of the recycling goes to landfill anyways.

  • Building a computer over the year and learning parts by parts what it all does and how to put them together and all that stuff. All the computers where broken/donated to the program, afterwards our teacher was cool and let us all play quake together on a lan network.
