  • So they're coming to terms that nobody wants to buy what is basically the same kind of phone now a days for higher price... and so now they want to scam people by "upgrading" to what they think will be cheaper when in reality, it's probably not...

  • Much like... -reads notes- Microsoft is via Github... huh....

  • "We are gathered here today because your thoughts and prayers did not secure our app"

  • Republicans at church:

  • It's ingrained in their culture. From very young, the education system has indoctrinated the belief that their wars were justified and have romanticized the means because the ends promised a better future. They just left out the relevant parts that they eventually manipulate because if they told people the real reasoning, people wouldn't "fight" for the causes.

The instinctively blind and gullible, short-sighted "patriots" follow the orders they are given because they refuse to see beyond their cult. They buy into the promise and because the story they were told was nice and pretty, they conflate everything and are manipulated into serving the corrupt evil they should be destroying. It's ironic.

I can understand how people in those circles want to pay respect and may even find some attachment to the idea because someone they were close to got involved in the same cult, but at some point you need to have some kind of moral compass that tells you what you're doing is wrong. You need to separate the idea from the reality. They don't.

To these people, they live their lives as sheep, blindly trusting the patriotic stories being told to them and repeating the same mistakes as those before them. Patriotism is a dangerous mindset. The west likes to romanticize war in every fashion. War is not just and war is not pretty. No matter what. People see the headlines and want to believe "they're just defending themselves" but that doesn't justify what happens afterwards.

  • Yet somehow the asshole is a trillionaire. That don't sit right with me. tf is going on

  • 100% that same guy will go on another cruise still and probably catch something else. Way to waste fucking $750K instead of feeding the poor.

  • Clearly it's enough even though people are dying in ICE camps and random bombings at Venezuela boats but a statue? Yeah, I somehow don't see that moving people to do what needs to be done still. Somehow.

  • They also want everyone to be Christian even though they don't follow their own bible. lmao

  • Wait--once or twice in the same day or did you mean every one to two days for regular bm?

  • Maybe it's 'cause they don't have bidets? Your ass knew better than to go through that TP hell.

  • What exactly are they going to try and go to trial for? They'll still have guns, they just won't have these really bad ones. What's the fucking point in going to court over something so pointless? Just live with your stupid guns and STFU. You don't need assault weapons to live. Get over it.

  • Cisco can take their campus fabrics/DNA and shove it up their arse. They stopped trying a long time ago and IOS is still a pain to use.

  • I don't have any friends or any other hobbies. Financial situation is not so good rn and so even if I wanted to, don't really feel like spending money for hobby or something.

I don't really know what others definition of "computing" is but if it's just about having an Internet addiction, then it's something I've had for as long as I can remember. I didn't have friends in elementary school but I had access to the Internet while at school and other spaces.

It's all just coping for me. Without the Internet, I'd probably become the next Luigi or something.

  • Ok, this one really made me lol. Well done

  • The fact that Trump's own goon uses Signal and not WhatsApp should probably tell you all you need to know about using WhatsApp.

  • 20 min I think. The business was almost that long. Anyway...

  • I don't necessarily hate my coworkers but the place is so small that things get mismanaged, not enough budget, people being shoehorned into management where they don't fit, and overall just a lot of not having anything being standardized.

There's very little room to make any significant contributions because management won't listen to you. You might think in a small place there would be wiggle room and a willingness to listen to folks because we all know each other, but here it's just more of the bigger corporate "don't rock the ship" mentality and again the bad management that were grandfathered into their position don't want to be challenged. It's pathetic.

Also, because it's so small, there's little room for growth beyond whatever maybe very specific thing you wanted to get out of the job, but after that? You don't move up, things (again) don't change because people have gotten used to just barely stringing things together even though when you have to go through it all, people are still wearing multiple hats and the people that should be trying to standardize things so that there's efficient interactions and cohesion don't do it because AGAIN, those fuckers don't know what they're doing. They're needed for a very specific responsibility and just so happened to be tacked on as a manager as well.

So done with this shit. Fucking hate working at SMBs.
