    They should have done a crossover trial, where group A is a random selection of archers initially getting no C bows, and then later getting them, and vice versa for group B. Paired t-tests, y'all!

  • I've been exactly where you are, and can only say that despite it being maddeningly frustrating there is still always a way. It might require melting off a chip and soldering a replacement one on (with significant loss of data)

  • Top tip: there's always a way to get to fastboot

    Never lose hope, find the flashing tools and modes for your vendor and attempt to flash a recovery onto it. Somewhere out there (probably XDA) this information exists on the exact timings and button configuration needed to open that tiny flashing window where you can restore fastboot.

    You might need to open the case and search for pins surrounding a chip with a TTL device (search for pinouts of your chip), but I guarantee you that the phone is always recoverable

  • This is what bugs me about our renewables transition. We should eventually be getting cheaper electricity due to solar overabundance and cost of production going to zero.

    Instead, these data centers are gobbling up every free Watt the grid produces, not even paying premium for it, and we're soaking up the costs due to the price of the demand.

    This then incentivizes anyone with a home solar setup to never give back to the grid at all, because otherwise you're feeding these assholes
