Line 2397 of the tesseract block list.

  • Within the group of people who would use Firefox, you have tech folks, security folks, people who do their research on topics, and you have a load of generic "I hate big companies" contrarians. It's that last group who enjoy complaining.

  • It may not be broke, but I sure am.

  • If it's not one of the two major parties, then your vote supports the person you hate most.

You can hate the system all you like, but this is just math.

  • I see the confusion. You're not voting FOR someone. That's not how this works.

You WILL get one of the two candidates as your next president. You vote AGAINST the worst one. It's that simple and no simpler.

3rd party is irrelevant until we get ranked choice voting. All it does is split the main two parties and strengthen the one you hate most.

  • "Cut off the head and two grow back"

Then just keep cutting. There aren't infinite heads.

  • Some men don't even wipe their ass. 🤷‍♂️

  • Really bright kid learns math, goes crazy, and is put in an asylum under constant supervision.

  • Sisyphus: thanks for the offer, but I'll stick to the rock.

  • While it is possible to self-identify as a libertarian and hold those beliefs, you have to understand that it disagrees with the general concepts of libertarianism as understood by other people.

To put it another way, you sound a little bit like a vegan eating tuna.

  • Look up First Past The Post to learn why you accidentally supported Trump.

  • I think it makes some sense. To be a white supremacist, you have to not think too hard. To be a libertarian and against minimum wage, you have to not think too hard.

  • This. This is the reason the dinosaurs went extinct.

  • Correct.

We can also hate and fight against how society brainwashes and guilts people into believing their body isn't good enough.

If you do enjoy reading, congratulations, you're already reading.

  • You're still trying to argue logically against a feeling. I've never seen that work.

Fear of dying in a plane crash is completely irrational. Do you think telling people the metrics is an effective way of fixing their fear?

What fixes it? Exposure therapy typically helps. Actual therapy too.

We can't influence the second one. But the first we can. Become friends with them. Be not threatening. Be not abusive. Be not a creep.

Or just whine about how it's not your problem to fix and suffer with the reality. That also works.

But I can tell you from experience. Being kind, not hitting on them, and not threatening, is a great way to make friends. It also gets you laid in the long run. Not with most of them, of course. But not none.

  • I prefer prison for criminals. Deportation just makes them someone else's problem and let's them influence from the outside.

  • Spotify: I switched my whole family to Tidal. It's cheaper for a family of four, you can migrate your playlists and such, music quality is better, and they aren't a shitty company. Plus one free month to try it before they bill you.

I had to find a different podcast app though. That was a pain.

  • Dear leftists and liberals,

Do we think immigrants should be deported for having political viewpoints we disagree with?

    Thanks.
