He/Him Jack of all trades, master of none

  • The reason I try to avoid using the phrases "good person" and "bad person" is that it implies that there are people who simply don't do bad things. "Bad people do bad things, and I'm a good person, so I really don't need to critically examine my own actions and how they affect others."

  • But it's all good, they're like 30 feet away. They can't possibly hurt me from all the way over there!

    Ow! Why am I bleeding?

  • Oh shit I wasn't even thinking

  • Personally, I estimate. I have a quarter of a tank, I need 3/4 of a tank. That's 9 gallons. Times $3.99 is $35.91. I get $30 on pump whatever

  • a tax on sugar, that includes sugar free drinks.

So, a tax on things that taste sweet, not just things that contribute to diabetes and obesity. One might, in an attempt to point out how silly this is, compare it to a hypothetical tax on things that taste savory.

  • This is an article about how they're going to increase taxes on sugar free drinks, which famously don't cause diabetes or obesity

  • Been a while since I saw it, but it was basically "racism is bad, but also some people are genetically superior," right?

  • "Second screen content"

  • Everyone has a library card at Anna's Archive

  • Having fun isn't hard if you have a library card

  • Astronomy is as cheap as your local observatory's entry fee (and the gas to drive there) (assuming you have a local observatory)

  • I cut my teeth on a '93 Geo Metro. Approximately 30 lbs wet, not weighed down by things like an automatic transmission or air bags or a tachometer. Had to learn the car's language, listen when she told me to shift gears. God I miss that little toy car

  • The lizard is cute

  • Sounds great until either a) a student laughs, says no, and stays on their phone or b) a teacher gets fired for trying to force a student to drop their phone in a cardboard box

  • For a while in my 20's, I lived with my mom. It was always something walking through the living room and hearing the quartering or Greg gutfeld or some other moron pissing in her ear about how I'm a domestic terrorist because I'm a leftist.

Also I live in Kansas, so it's not like leaving the house was much better

  • Redditors when they see a woman

  • The important thing is that every site is misprofiling you the same way, which doesn't actually help you. Your fingerprint just has a distinctive scar across it

  • Yeah, it's about as effective as ending every comment with "I do not consent to my comments being used to train AI data sets"

  • Cody's Lab. A lot of channels do cool shit for their youtube channel, and it feels like Cody has a youtube channel for the cool shit he's already doing. Like, vacuuming out a chicken coop. Check out how he does it without dirtying the filter on his shop vac. Or an infinite pickle jar. With a couple design modifications, that could legit be a marketable product.

Also Know Art. I can't even imagine the effort it takes to make the 3d models he uses to explain things, but damn if I don't know a hell of a lot more about telescoping mechanisms and drills and buttons and phones and staplers and saws and like a million other things because of their amazing channel
