  • I was staying in a motel for an overnight trip. I'm a light sleeper and I got woken up by the sound of someone very quietly turning the door handle. I'd locked it, obviously, so they couldn't open it. They figured that out and spent five minutes trying to wrench/kick it open before giving up and leaving.

    So that was unsettling.

  • Raisins are nothing more than grape-mummies.

  • Human cremains are too acidic to make good growing soil.

Mulch the body, bury the mulch, plant a tree.

  • I want a set of smart glasses with an AI function to replace billboards and other adverts in my vision with artworks. Without being a walking spy cam.

  • You seem to always be the worst version of yourself around them.

  • But how can you put a price on art? /s

  • You still have an opportunity to impress me.

  • RAM and cornchip dust.

  • A sign like that would give a lot of confidence. I already bought three of these creepy victorian dolls whose eyes seem to follow you around the room because the seller assured me they're not cursed in any way.

  • Why not open the door so she changes her mind?

  • I'd like to see your 'science' explain where the missing socks go in the dryer.

  • Come on now. One actress has forehead ridges. The other doesn't. That's a pretty big feature to miss.

  • Don't make promises when you're happy; don't make decisions when you're sad.

  • A question I've struggled with my whole life. Some people are really good liars.

  • I knew someone IRL like that. Genuinely nice guy face-to-face, but never passed up the chance to take a swipe at someone online. As time went by his conduct and attitudes made it clearer and clearer that he's dealing with undiagnosed mental health issues.

  • 12-year old single malt scotch. I bought a bottle as a birthday gift for a friend and we shared a glass.

He decided he didn't like the taste and drank the rest with coke, so obviously next time I'll buy him a bottle of turpentine and a monogramed shot glass.

  • I'm specifically talking about dead celebrities. People like to point out that HP Lovecraft was racist, Gary Gygax was sexist and Clark Gable was fascist. All true and well-known, but it's much too late to change their minds about it. Whereas racism, sexism and fascism are going on outside our windows right now and can still be affected.

  • The thing about that is, regardless of how we feel about the new stuff, we'll always have the old stuff we loved.
