I use Debian btw

  • I saw them in concert in Seattle a few weeks ago!

The Linda Lindas opened and they rocked. I wasn't even aware of Rancid and their impact on the punk rock scene so now I'm digging through their discography. Then the Smashing Pumpkins played. They played Tarantula but not Geek USA or Mayonaise for some reason. But they did play a lot of the hits. Tonight, Tonight, 1979, Disarm, Jellybelly, Zero, Bullet, Today, etc. Lots of songs that got me through trying times. Great show. Then Green Day came out and played the entirety of Dookie and American Idiot. I've listened through both more times than I care to count. In total, we were at T-Mobile Park for like six hours. It was fucking awesome.

Except for the fact that they wheeled Billie out on a California king and he snored the whole time.

  • It doesn't, though? I've sent cash through the washer plenty of times. How else am I supposed to launder my money?

(Also, I thought it was pretty clear my original comment was a joke, but whatever dude lol)

  • Must be in Canadian dollars. Everyone knows their money is fake.

  • Words like comeuppance and conniption? Bunghole? Squeegee? Hoedown? Poppycock?

English has words I'm sure English speakers find funny/ridiculous.

  • I used to cringe every time I saw an itasha car. But hey, not my car. If it makes them happy and it's not disproportionately negatively affecting others' safety, then it's actually kinda sick.

I couldn't do it myself. I also haven't been into anime for several years, but I do love me a JDM neoclassic.

  • I own a '97 Honda. The last owner had LEDs in it. The lenses weren't designed for LEDs, they were designed for halogens. So one of the first things I did was revert the headlights to halogen bulbs. And they work perfectly fine. I drive in a suburb so the streets are already fairly well lit. I don't need to cast a beam 5 miles out to see where I'm going.

Also, it's that soft yellowish white light. Not that harsh daylight bluish light everyone and their mom is obsessed with. I don't get it. Anyway, the best thing you can do in 99 times of 100 is to consider what equipment you have and stick to OEM spec.

  • Drawings of Dogs

The artist has taken some liberties as to what constitutes a drawing of a dog.

  • My cat just has to be present in the room. The dog don't give two squirts of piss about that food until the cat is in the room, at which point the food is suddenly at extreme risk.

In the year and some change we've had our dog, the cat has never gone within five feet of the his food bowl.

  • It's 10 PM. Do you know where your ten millimeter wrenches are?

  • Imagine dual booting Windows lol

  • I, for one, am ready for the sun to consume us all.

  • For those who don't know, Martian solar eclipses suck compared to ours. The near equal relative size of the sun and moon to Earth is why we get such awesome eclipses.

Perks of having a planet-sized object slam into your planet during its Hadean Eon.

  • What's UP man?

  • Anomalocaris means "weird shrimp" so I get the feeling the Cambrian freaks out the nerds sometimes, too.

  • My orange cat is the direct opposite. You look in his general direction for even a fraction of a second, and he's all over you like Grandma's kisses.

    It's sweet.

    But it's also exhausting sometimes.

    Edit:
