They may be small enough and have weak enough skin that a longlegs could actually penetrate the dermis and actually deliver a potentially troubling amount of venom.
IIRC, small rodents are things that a longlegs could potentially deliver an effective bite to... but I am not completely sure where or how exactly to draw the line.
Basically, they have a decent venom, but their fangs are quite bad at penetrating most kinds of skin... they are geared mainly toward hunting other small insects... but its not 100% impossible to harm something a bit bigger.
You can build a pc with a minisforum BD795i SE (also an integrated CPU, but not LPDDR RAM, its a standard desktop mobo but small, itx, and you can't remove the 7945hx CPU)) and an AMD 9070, for under $1500, (thats including everything in the pc) and that'll do basically everything you could possibly want at 1440p.
I have a wish list on newegg that is just barely above $1500 (at least pretax), including also a decently good 32", curved 1440p monitor.
These kinds of uh, high grade laptop cpu but on an other wise standard, but small pc mobo, that can be the size of a large lunch box... these are pretty common in China, but fairly few in the West seem to have caught on.
PC part picker still doesnt even list these mobos in the right way, you can't plan a build with them, because wtf its a mobo and a cpu at the ssme time? That breaks how our website works!

Getting gaming to work on linux is the path toward more mass adoption.
Linux has already been increasingly functional, capable, usable, and solid in many other ways, I'd argue superior in many ways... for a while, and gaming really is the last hurdle.
The Steam Deck came out in 2022, after ~4 years of Proton improving from masses of desktop/laptop users running everything possible through it on all kinds of hardware to (auto) generate bug and crash reports for Valve (and others), who then of course actually developed it up to... I think Proton was at either 7 or 8 when the Deck actually came out, now we are on 9, 10 will probably come out of beta and be official Steam default by the end of the year.
Also also, the 'Steam Machine' was really more of just a minimum spec requirement than a specific product, the idea was to try to get other manufacturers to take their own crack at the concept, got a small amount of buy in, but not much.

It sure would be neat if higher education in the US did not come with the shackles of student loan debt, then maybe people could get educated simply for the sake of getting educated, but, because it does, this has to be a cost benefit style question.

Also, these people are all 100% guaranteed to be fired and blacklisted from every major tech firm for the rest of their lives... the vast majority of full employees at MSFT are self serving corpos to the core... so yeah it is kind of notable that you'd even get any...
