  • A former associate of Melania Trump has sensationally claimed the first lady was an “escort” for Jeffrey Epstein and met the president through the notorious sex offender.

Honestly, we knew this. Even if we didn't know he was connected. She was a sex worker and she lit his candle. What a surprise.

  • Trump ran for a return to the Oval Office in 2024 on a promise to bring inflation under control and end “forever war” commitments overseas.

Instead, he has introduced a reciprocal tariffs policy that has seen the increased cost of imports passed onto consumers and attacked Iran, resulting in higher gas prices following the closure of the Strait of Hormuz.

The thing is, they're fucking stupid and incapable of learning. A lot of this is because of our hollowed-out educational system, but some are just meth-addict fucks. Fuck them. I hope they burn.

  • I've owned a few devices like Orange Pi but really more as a curiosity that I never did much with. I have, however, seen discussions suggesting that when you move away from the RasPi ecosystem, support for various tooling gets more complicated because you're in a much smaller pool of hardware and this makes them more effort to setup. I don't know the validity of that, but it sounded plausible to me.

Just get a Pi. Just because you don't need wifi doesn't mean it won't potentially be useful down the road.

  • Oh, this could be fun. I mean, the entire market is about to collapse when AI companies can't deliver and this might be the first card to fall.

  • Wait a minute, I hadn't read it until now.

Ron, who served in the military for 25 years, said the 2008 housing market crash left him “really disillusioned with the Democratic Party.”

Who was in office when this happened, you stupid fuck? Was is a man named George W Bush? Was he a dem? I don't appreciate the dems (they don't do anything but perpetuate the status quo; I want socialism), but this man betrays his lack of thought with that quote.

Ron said he supported Trump with donations, bumper stickers and the “whole nine yards” of MAGA.

I always found it funny that stupid people sent money to "a rich guy" for the first campaign. Of course, his many failing businesses don't matter after the graft of his second term. Whether he was close to insolvency or not, he's got a lot of money now.

“I bought into the lie about the stolen election and all that, and I thought January 6 insurrectionists were actually patriots,” Ron said.

"I thought stupid, violent criminals were good people. Like the guy wearing the Auschwitz tshirt who was in a lot of media."

realizing that I was dumb as a roc

Oh my fucking god, he said exactly the thing I said about some other right-wing assholes!

    The wife:

I just started drawing up very different conclusions and found out that I was clueless, and most people are today, but now I'm awake and looking at it for what it is

No, most of us aren't. You're just a fucking dumbass. Others read and learn and check facts and verify what people say. I'm not clueless. There's a lot that I don't know, but I am not someone who just listens to a blowhard and nods my head like you did. Wait, let me put gauze on my ear to show support for some jackass who loots my country because I don't know what's real and what's not. We need a ballroom!!!!

Ron said he now votes for Democrats, and Chrissey said she considers herself an Independent but has voted for Democrats three times now, something she “never thought in my entire life” would happen.

Well, I'm sorry to say that the dems will disappoint and these people will return to fringe right-wing bullshit as a result. We need actual leadership and change. I voted for Bernie but he's retiring and even he wouldn't call out the genocide in Gaza (fuck israel). Give us people who want to upend the system to take care of people and tax billionaires, I promise they'll get votes. Instead, Chuck Schumer will blah blah blah blah blah and Nany Pelosi will retire on a pile of money.

  • Not the same thing. And truth.com isn't Truth Social. You made me wonder if it was worse than I realized, but I just loaded it and it's some bs that isn't his platform.

  • What if the people who received that money (I hope they don't) become the targets of the same people robbing people for bitcoin? I think I'd laugh.

  • "I might have supported a war built on a house of lies, but it's that idiot's fault that he believed me."

  • You ever checked out Whitehouse.gov?

No one has ever visited it except to criticize what's happening there. I loaded it for the first time a month or two ago when they launched their new propaganda campaign to see how blatant it was. I imagine Tea Party shitheads loaded it while Obama was in office. No one is loading it daily to find out what's going on. And if anyone is, they are braindead morons (I think there's a venn diagram here with maga shitheads).

  • No, they're really that stupid. That's why we have a problem with fundamentalist christians sending money to grifters in the USA. THEY ARE AS DUMB AS FUCKING ROCKS!

  • I promise they didn't stop believing terrible things. Don't consider these assholes "the good ones" or the ones "that converted". They hate people who aren't like them. They're probably racist (I don't know that). They're probably bigots against other religions (especially from Brown places). They just found out that the asshole they worshipped doesn't give a shit about them. They didn't become good people with positive values.

  • Great, let's boil the ocean faster.

  • I give ZERO shits and have ZERO compassion left for Trump voters.

This is why the last time I ever spoke to my mother was the day before his inauguration. At this point, it's her fault that he causes harm.

  • Decades of erosion of public education ensures that they're not media savvy and don't have critical thinking skills. Mix in some disinformation (Fox "News") and fear of the other, now you've got a jelly-brained MAGA moron.

  • I dunno what's different between us, but I've found it to be rock solid for over a decade. I host it on a Mac mini.

  • I've never used any of the features they've added after they allowed me to host my library of ripped optical media ~2013-2014.

  • That’s why it’ll be a shock to the system when on May 21, nearly 45,000 of Samsung’s unionized workers plan to walk off the job for 18 days. If that happens, it will be the largest work stoppage in the history of the semiconductor industry, at the single most important chokepoint in the AI supply chain.

Suck it, AI companies. I use an agent to help me code projects and it's genuinely useful. But these companies are leaches and they deserve a good kick in the balls. See price hikes due to shortages because of their build-outs. I'm very fortunate that I am not in need of any hardware (at the moment! hope nothing fails!), but I'm still very mad about how it's affecting people.

Last September, SK Hynix settled with its own union to allocate 10% of annual operating profit directly to employees as performance bonuses for the next decade, while removing caps on bonuses. Based on 2026 profit forecasts, that translates to average payouts of $460,000-$477,000 per worker this year across SK Hynix’s 35,000 staff, with projections approaching $900,000 per person next year. This is nothing new for SK Hynix: it already paid profit-sharing bonuses averaging about $95,000 per employee this past February.

Holy shit. The next time someone tries to tell you unions are bad, point them to this.

Side note: I'm literally trying to figure out and schedule time off before it expires that was won for me by my union. I didn't know about it and it's per-pay period so I got an automated email telling me to use it or lose it. What a great problem to have.

  • Don't let them divide us. I just (five minutes ago) responded to what I think is a pretty clear plant (see misspelling of Mamdami's name). Whether someone isn't "Left-enough" to you or whatever, if they want to help people and want to beat the Repubs, try to bring them along.

There's the trope that Leftists fight each other and the right have solidarity. The first part is true. The second part is only true in that they unite around hate and fear and bigotry. That's why the orange dickbag kept firing his cabinet in the first admin. And though he brought a bunch of sycophantic ass-kissers this time, he's finally removing them too.

Let's work together to put these assholes in prison.
