  • Way to stay classy, M$.

  • They have no interest in listening to constituents. The “us or all hell breaks loose” tactic has worked too many times.

  • Thanks! I was suddenly ashamed that I’d never thought of this until you pointed this out.

  • I hate it so much. Just stick to jpg.

  • Yeah, Target doesn't get any money from me anymore. I have a Trans Pride flag in my office window. We're incompatible.

  • Gosh, maybe insane trade wars are bad.

  • Gorgeous.

  • Automation is a common reason to program outside of a job. I created tools to scrape websites, control my home entertainment system, and nerdy shit like pulling stats from my router. Someone who does a podcast that I enjoy created a thing that lets him know the state of their garage door via an LED (open vs closed). Silly stuff like this is really about scratching a personal itch more than it's about solving life issues. It's fun for some people and probably not fun for others.

  • This was funnier than it had any right to be.

  • I'd rather eat an orange. Apple skin gets stuck in my teeth.

  • Someone cares too much about an amendment that truly doesn't apply anymore. If the government decides to come for you, you're not gonna be able to stop them. This is why we need to rewrite our constitution to reflect modern life, like other civilized states have done in Europe. Write it with privacy in mind in a digital age. Make food and shelter a human right. Oh well, can't get anything done because we only have two parties.

  • I, for one, think we should spare Venezuelans having to fill out TPS reports.

  • Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) placed third in the survey with 8%.

I like Miss Crockett. She's impressed me over the last couple of years.

  • Not for a second.

  • I would support an investigation into Bono. That South Park episode pretty well summed up why I dislike him. I'm sure he's a decent guy, but yeah, pretty smug. (I don't really, shut up.)

We already know Oprah is terrible for platforming a bunch of terrible people (Doc Oz, Doc Phil, that rapey guy in South America). Behind the Bastards podcast has that info.

Bruce Springsteen and Beyoncé are totally awesome. Let your bullshit investigations reveal how cool they are. We're ready.

  • First out-loud chuckle of the day. This seems likely to be true for most young people these days.

  • It really is such a great chair that I expect I'll have it forever. One arm got damaged by my old desk being just the right height that when I sat, the arm could go under and when I stood, the chair raised a bit and put pressure on the arm. Other than that, it's as good as the day I bought it, outside of cosmetic wear. This is after ~20 years. What an investment!

  • Oh, I wouldn't like that. I swing back in my chair a lot of the time that I'm seated.
