  • Compost. I don't really care about a marker or whatnot either. Maybe, if I had to; a cherub with a solar powered pump that periodically pees on [billionaires] grave stone or maybe just a simple stone with this meme but, eh. Won't matter to me after the fact because I am not.

  • Recently discord has made the decision to introduce age verification after they revealed a previous implementation had leaked 70,000 government issued ID cards and related information. It is likely why you are being downvoted. I bid you to try out matrix first for your safety or at least your security.

  • mirrors.kernel.org is down because it threw 2 disks in a RAID-6 array and then ground itself to a halt.

  • Logic can do nothing when faced with inscrutable greed.

  • Pulled his pants down below his butt because it was 'fashionable' at the time but accidentally pulled his underwear down also. So he was just standing there, in the main hallway of our highschool talking with his friends, mooning everyone behind him.

  • "Excuse me sir, I'm too stupid to be on this range. May I leave?"

  • Mike looks so smug lol.

  • Another reason to not let cats outdoors :(

  • We all know what AI is doing to the workforce

    Do we?

    Summary

While anxiety over the effects of AI on today’s labor market is widespread, our data suggests it remains largely speculative. The picture of AI’s impact on the labor market that emerges from our data is one that largely reflects stability, not major disruption at an economy-wide level. While generative AI looks likely to join the ranks of transformative, general purpose technologies, it is too soon to tell how disruptive the technology will be to jobs. The lack of widespread impacts at this early stage is not unlike the pace of change with previous periods of technological disruption. Preregistering areas where we would expect to see the impact and continuing to monitor monthly impacts will help us distinguish rumor from fact.

*The narrative that AI's are causing job loss is a marketing strategy performed by the AI companies to boost their recognition through fear.

  • I love giving head scritches when kitties are napping like this. One of my cats loved it and would usually fall deeper into sleep after stretching into it.

  • It's starches are being broken down and used in glycolysis before you had a chance to. The bastards stole it from you. Burn them.

  • I think some of those people have simply lost trust in the establishment and likely for good reason. I've known some kids that were put in horrible juvenile detention centres which caused them life long trauma, not to mention all the survivors of the residential schools in Canada; in those instances I can totally understand. To them I suspect filling out a ballot would cause them physical pain so when someone tells them to vote all they feel is revulsion.

Outside of situations like that, I truly don't know. Maybe a high degree of apathy and privilege?

  • 😭

  • I only tried to use gamescope as a launch option, but that made it so at least one of the games wouldn't launch. I've not tried with others though or installing it through apt. So far switching to kde has done the trick, so not going to try fixing a problem that isn't there anymore (so far).

  • oh shit, it does hahah. I guess it's not a wayland issue then. :s

  • All of them lol.

  • Then left to get milk. smh

  • He just went on sabbatical. Had to take a break from all that napping.

  • Yeah, it also gives me some closure with firefly being cancelled... like I the fox executive cancelled Firefly because he didn't like Whedon, now I know why he didn't like him. Or at least a probable reason.
