Pretty sure this was all drawn by Pablo Marcos, who was a superhero artist that worked for both DC and Marvel at different points. Figures he probably really only had consistent way of drawing people seeing that he was mainly a superhero artist.
Ok, but if you are still tailgating me in the right lane because I'm doing the speed limit, I'm allowed to deploy James Bond style gadgets from my car at you.
I like The Loss (S04E10) where Troi loses her mental abilities and has a crisis about actually having to know how to do her job. Bonus is that early in the episode even with her powers, she was dishing out surface level platitudes to a patient who was clearly unimpressed.
Top therapist in Starfleet. Got her position on the flagship entirely on merit she did.
The early use of this reaction gif was a little too new wave for my taste. But when wojacks started getting so many variations, I think it really came into its own, commercially and artistically. The whole reaction has a clear, crisp pixelation, and a new sheen of consummate professionalism that really gives the gif a big boost. It's been compared to frogposting, but I think Buzzposting has a far more bitter, cynical sense of humor.
In my experience, people with "bad GPS" tend to disregard the GPS directions because they think they know better. Once they are good and lost, and the GPS is freaking out and frantically trying to reroute is about when they start to complain that the GPS is useless.
EVE has fantastic stories, but I'd never want to play it myself. The people who did stuff like the bank scam put in so much time in front of spreadsheets it was like a real job.
I suppose it would be an extreme game design challenge, but I would play more evil characters if I didn't have to play as "stupid evil".
I want to be a manipulative monster who preys on trust. Of course I'm not going to punch the begger in broad daylight in front of everyone. I want chat him up, gain his trust, and give him a drink laced with medical alcohol so I can then steal his pocket change.
Took my freshly re-cobbled together computer to local computer guy after an upgrade with hand-me-down parts. He asked what was wrong and I said there was an alarm for the CPU fan, and that I'd torn the case open and hooked a second fan into the CPU fan connection and it also didn't work, and the I plugged the CPU fan into a different connection and got it working, so by elimination I was pretty sure the fans were good and the connection in the motherboard was bad.
He seemed mildly amused/impressed by my spiel. I'm not really a computer person, but swapping out parts to narrow down the source of the problem seemed logically basic.
I ended up chilling with him while he worked on things. He found WinZip on my desktop and let out a "whoa retro." which hurt me deeply.
I love the aesthetic and the setting, but the gameplay just doesn't click with me. It's clearly very well polished and designed, but I have never been good at third person melee games and soulsborne stuff cranks the required precision up too much for me. Instead I've just listened to dozens of hours of Bloodborne lore to get the experience.
