  • In this case, it`s just sugar and citrus peels. The sugar pulls the oils out of the peels, and you end up with oleosaccharum, which is then added to the lemonade.

  • My understanding is that it was a marketplace seller, not Best Buy themselves, who sold the laptop to the customer.

    At least the techs actually made an effort to diagnose the issue and figured out that removing the stick of RAM fixed it. They're not responsible for the sale of a laptop with more memory than the motherboard can handle.

    All these marketplaces are a disaster. So many shady sellers posting the same items on every site they can, and nobody takes responsibility when an issue inevitably pops up.

  • They do have an LED that's meant to show when they're in use. They're also designed to detect tampering with the LED. But they can't detect a piece of tape or black nail polish painted over it.

    Iron Mountain says the data is currently safe, but that OSS owns the hardware that contains the data so they cannot hand it over. The lawsuit is for an injunction to prevent deletion and retrieve their data.

  • It says they use vanilla beans, but the ingredients list only says "natural flavor," and vanilla is not listed in the ingredients.

  • Vanillin is the same chemical in both artificial vanilla flavorings and actual vanilla, so that definitely tastes the same.

    Most people don't have the palate trained to really distinguish the subtle differences brought on by those other components and will probably appreciate both equally. I'm sure I couldn't tell both apart unless I was comparing them 1-to-1.
