I'd like to give more focus to circular patterns. Instead of continuing the cancer-logic pattern of 'line must go up' that progress evokes, we could instead learn how repeating patterns shape our societies, and how we can create sustainable movement.
Edit: this was asking for the definition. So yeah, progress for me is a linear upwards movement.
How about not using AI for anything? Negative impacts overweigh use. Use ML (as in predictive typing) and call it a day. Don't replace your brain with a slopmachine
Edit: In all my many years on earth I never knew they were supposed to be father and daughter. To me they always looked like a couple. Thanks for correcting!
If you are willing to put all this work into prompting, wouldn't it be a more gratifying process to just write the thing yourself and save a lot of energy, water , and frustration in the process?
The population calls it Caralho de Filho da Puta Vai te Foder Cabrão de Merda. This is the place to go if you want to learn Portuguese swear words and/or go fast.
I'm not in or from the US. In my country people didn't rebel when camps were built, when people were disappeared, when they were sent to war. The world used to think that something was especially wrong with us. Turns out the average person in every country is just too poor, too exhausted, too distracted to oppose the fascists. We sit still and hope that we're not next. If you introduce the hardships slowly enough people will not complain.
My advice is 'Rot the system from the inside'. Be extra slow, be really inefficient. Be obtuse. Have your work gear break often. Make small mistakes. Be stubborn. Appear stupid. And if you want to gather and organize: Don't gather in one location, gather in many locations, but gather. Don't meet with the purpose of politics, but start with mutual aid, neighborhood support, hobbies, ... Maybe don't call your organization anything like "Anarchist Antifa Violent Liberation Front" but go for "Neighborhood Support Club" and remain accessible to all who are not total arseholes. Now it's about getting shit done - anything on the scale of growing vegetables to Luigi that isn't writing yet another manifesto. Be kind to another.
Klopapier ... (this continues counting till ten. It's about an old fashioned wooden many-seated outhouse without toiletpaper which breaks down in the end. It's one of two songs about poop my dad taught us, which briefly made my brother and me the rockstars of the playground. Poop!)
My own room. From reading the comments a lot of people just seem to suffer through sleepless nights or try to dictate their partner's health/behaviour. Look, you can love each other without sleeping in the same bed, or even living in the same house.
Edit: you asked for input from those who DO share a bed, sorry. I suffered too for many years, and my health deteriorated. Now even next to a non-snoring partner I'll get zero sleep. Which is why I advocate for considering separate rooms.
The birds in front of my offgrid home's door say your ai assistant can go off itself, they will provide me with all the necessary info while using fewer resources.
Yes to all those. It helped me immensely to understand that I am wired different. But lately I have come to believe it's dangerous to find these common traits in the context of a mental illness diagnosis. Neurodiverse? Hell yeah. Suffering from 'Can't work an 8 hour job' disorder? No thanks. It's not a disorder, it's my body and mind protesting against bad conditions. We don't have to set up society in such a way that a significant percentage of the population cannot keep up with life tasks. I demand change not as charitable accommodation for a problem I have.
My issue here is not the grouping of people under certain traits, but calling these traits a 'syndrome' or 'disorder' because a person with these traits is less valuable as human resource within the capitalist work logic. I'm not disordered, the system is.
I also feel that making me self-diagnose with a disorder would be very useful for keeping me small and powerless. If the specific way my mind works doesn't please late stage capitalism, late stage capitalism and its 'helpful' disgnoses can fuck right off while I go take a nap as nature intended.
So now you can get your cat handling injuries while trying to put this helmet on and not while handling the cat during the treatment. That is a great innovation.
Also, please don't put this on your cat without need unless it trusts you a 1000% - it probably freaks out the poor critter and that's just cruel. Pets are not dolls to dress up in funny costumes.
