  • Well yes, that's why we have to sort them out, count them and send them to the frontlines to feed our soldiers! Glorious victory will be ours!

  • I've heard World War 3 sucks. Can't wait for World War 4, hope they finally get all the bugs sorted out.

  • I'm trying to figure where this was supposed to go. Or I fail to understand some insider joke.

  • I just can't anymore. Isn't that like, the basic thing any program does? Who runs these companies?

  • Sausage - my bf's one size fits all term for those he loves, from actual sausages to his pets and me

  • I've had these on some of my cats when they are a little stressed or off. I think it's a fungus (Ringworm? or is that still a different thing?) and the immune system usually keeps it at bay, and it can appear when the cat is unhappy or overwhelmed with something. Were there recent changes for your cat that they might not have liked?

  • Ah, now I get it why there are both touchpad and mouse even though no mouse connected! Thanks!

  • Wait you can disable that shit?

  • Rural area, I know all my immediate neighbours and a few people from the villages around. It's really great to be part of a small community, and since a lot of the original population emigrated the old folks around are generally really welcoming even to foreigners like me. I got so used to greeting everyone I sometimes confuse people in larger places with too much waving and smiling where it's not common.

  • Not money (although it helps), time. The nuclear family is an invention of the industrial age. But parents can easily be relieved through a local community or a professional childcare system.

  • Clearly AI generated, too many legs in weird places!

  • The garden I'm growing. Just keep throwing seeds on the soil and add water regularly. Some shit will grow. There's these incredible beans - the flower starts out a buttery yellow, then turns a whitish violet when it opens. Or pansies - first time I grew one from seed and I could just stare at them for hours! While humanity disappoints often even the smallest of plants makes me incredibly happy.

  • That Europeans discovered the 'new world', and that it was inhabited by 'savages' aka people with forgettable cultures, skills, and lifestyles.

  • Every plant is poisonous if you manage to eat enough.

But seriously I love the idea! If I ever get a tattoo (unlikely, but who knows) it would probably be something planty.

For a poisonous plant that's not commonly known I recommend Daphne gnidium. It was used to catch fish around here. Flowers have a hypnotic smell.

  • It looks civilized, but is it really? Alligators should never be stored so close to electrical equipment! The bad electric vibes can make them aggressive.

  • I have a deal with the ants in my garden. I get to grow vegetables on their land, they get part of the vegetables and don't destroy everything.

  • In my personal experience if you have to pick one, animal manure (I count human poop under that as well) works better than compost from just plant material (like plant cuttings, kitchen waste, weeds, wood chip ...). Best is a mix of both.

  • Believe me, in too many cases somebody thinks that a lower price can somehow be had without compromising quality. What if we let a bot do it and a human quickly checks the result? It's like proofreading, right?
