  • We make these often; kiddos love them

  • Update: wire arrived today and it was NOT a match. The X Limit Switch wire has a white label with an X and while 1 end is correct the other is wrong. Creality support did eventually get back with me and said it was the cutter detection cable with SKU 3103110734 so guess I'm set back another 3 weeks ordering the other wire variations from DREMC. In hind sight I should have gone ahead and ordered 1 of each to be sure; oh well.

  • Creality store support said they don't have the part and directed to main Creality support email

Creality support email said to try Amazon, Alibaba or Aliexpress - no luck on any of those

Ordered a replacement from a site in Australia (only place I've found so far that carries it) and will likely attempt to repair the wire while I wait for it to arrive

  • 3DPrinting @lemmy.world

Help! Where to buy replacement wires?

  • Ditto on Jellyfin and games. We've had a lot of fun with Luanti and Super Tux Kart.

  • Yep, learning an instrument would be mine as well

  • Tailscale runs on Wiregaurd which is ridiculously fast. Also helps we're located physically near each other on fiber from the same company so less network hops.

  • Nope! We use it for Jellyfin too which also works great 😸

  • Gaming with friends and family over Tailscale on my servers; it just works

  • I am also a developer and agree entirely.

Asking for advice, examples or the occasional boilerplate is at most how I use AI and certainly not integrated directly into my IDE.

  • For Lemmy I just chose a larger instance and went with it. I've considered moving to one more aligned with my interests though hasn't been much reason to yet.

For Mastodon I went with Fosstodon precisely for my interests as I can better enjoy the local feed.

  • Think Fallout but instead of vaults it's orphanages

  • There is, though we usually do better buying in bulk elsewhere

  • I'm paid bi-weekly with $1,200 USD going toward groceries from each paycheck

Granted we're a very large family though inflation these past few years hasn't helped

We live in central NC, USA

  • Another vote for Rustdesk

I use it mostly for family tech support where MY PC is running Linux and THEY are on Windows though it works great in both directions

  • Bought a Kobo for option to load my own ebook files and the Clara both for cost and size (fits in my pants pocket). Super happy with the purchase.

  • Years back when Clash of Clans was running ads using player submitted footage they used my submission for an ad (the one where several giants get taken out by spring traps)

  • These days we mostly shop on Instacart which has been great for walking around to check what's needed and update the cart accordingly before placing the order.
