  • Here's an archive of the linked article as well, so as not to give them traffic.

  • Honestly, I'd go for Mint instead of Zorin or Bazzite instead of SteamOS.

Those have treated me well in my light usage over the past few years.

  • Why do you think it's so fast? That long, aerodynamic shell really helps.

  • Just like Google phones for GrapheneOS, buy secondhand. You're not giving the company a cent and you get to use something cool.

  • Maybe throw in UwUntu as well.

  • Startpage has been serving me pretty well for a few years now.

ETA: Pretty sure they use Google results. Not sure if they include other engines too.

  • Have you tried FreeTube?

It's the only way I watch YouTube on PC these days and it works pretty well most of the time. Also nice since the YouTube website almost never works for me.

  • Yeah, so I disabled those filters in uBlock Origin. I'd rather be annoyed by the pop-up and know I rejected what I could instead of being unsure.

  • That filter doesn't reject cookies. It just stops you from seeing the pop-up from my understanding.

  • Man's a mall ninja before malls even existed.

  • Here's an archived link for you. Should make it much easier to read.

  • Of course. Don't know why I was expecting something different when there's simple answers like that, but thanks.

  • How would you address them or include them in a statement like "sir or ma'am"?

  • Of course. I'm not saying it's a huge risk or anything, I'm mostly saying the history and track record of the developer and this distro aren't exactly getting me excited to bother trying it.

  • I know and I've got nothing against passion projects at all. It's just that this one seems way too volatile after the bumpy road and multiple changes it's had over the years with multiple stops and starts as well.

This is a case where I feel like I agree with the other comments here. Just make it a theme or some dotfiles for others to install instead.

  • This doesn't seem like the most reliable developer or distro.

Genuine question, why would I trust my machines to something as inconsistent as this?
