Hello thanks for visiting my profile.

For any picture posts I make with the [OC] tag, I provide a license for you to use my photo under the terms of CC-BY-SA-4.0. You may DM me for questions.

  • And there will be flying bicycles, not cars, but bicycles by 2029.

If you are a billionaire tech CEO, US newsmedia will uncritically quote this verbatim.

  • Over the various years growing up, I'm friendly with a lot of people, but I keep in touch with a select few from each time period, and they tend to keep me in the loop of the goings on in that circle.

And many of these good friends I am currently physically far away from, I try to make the effort to go and visit them, and invite them over if they ever consider coming to where I live.

  • Sorry I misread. I wonder is poptalk scrubbles is still active? Whatever you consider small I'm not really setting a strict standard

  • If I had a broken and uncontrollable vacuum in my house, I would switch it off and unplug it. Just saying, Republicans...

  • Did you reply to the wrong comment?

  • I refuse to ignore you! You're doing great, keep it up!

  • I mean if he really wants the credit I'll call it "Trump's Waterloo" for him.

  • That piece of information seems like key context. 1Password didn't just give money simply because they like the product. More or less, it's product placement in return for funding.

I'm on the fence if that's better or worse.

  • No worries, this man's 200k still ended up in a dream building project. Namely, Trump's gilded ballroom.

  • For sure. There's no specific way you have to track your progress for it to count.

  • You can ask the account @remindme@mstdn.social. not sure if it can handle a Linux epoch time that far out in the future.

  • I'm not entirely certain. What I have tried is ordering custom massive hot balls of plasma in space for everyone, but I've learned the waitlist is a few billion years long.

  • How about... Copilot Microsoft Copilot Office365 Copilot Outlook (new) (Copilot web)?

1 person using this software will count as 4 Copilot users in investor metrics, of course.

Announcing the Threadiverse Vibrancy Challenge (Sep 1-30, 2026)

  • Maybe the problem was with the wording all along. Republicans might be able to get behind an American Prosperity Fee (on wealth).

  • LiveThreadBot@sopuli.xyz did provide live scores for me during the FIFA World Cup. I did try to come out and comment on a couple threads. So a score of 1.1 out of 2 on this criteria?

  • Every municipality is different.

Some do nothing except beep and vibrate for visually impaired people. That style, try holding it down for 3 seconds. When you get the walk sign you should get audio and tactile feedback.

Some lights will not change to walk unless you press the button. Some only exhibit the behaviour at night.

Here's a video of Nic Laporte studying them in Vancouver, BC, and here we have Bike ones in addition to standard pedestrian ones.

    Idea: Threadiverse Vibrancy Challenge

  • Ask Lemmy @lemmy.world

If you knew you'd likely receive a million dollars, 5 years from today, would you do anything differently in preparation?

  • Linux @programming.dev

Have you or someone close to you converted to Linux recently (with Windows 10's end of support)?
