  • No, I just put whatever some guy said on reddit 5 years ago and it worked :/. I have no idea why I had to adjust the mtu, but thank you for the reply. I ivpn has some sort of mtu limit bc I tested with both their client and the wireguard client and I had to adjust the size (debiam and arch). Works fine on android, though.

  • Isnt openvpn inherintly more insecure than wireguard though? Wireguard has a considerabally smaller codebase.

  • I second ironfox, its great. I would also reccomend fennec, which is essentially just debloated firefox. I use it for sites that ironfox breaks.

  • I think so, because that was during the peak of the ram shortage, and LPCAMM2 was barely produced then.

  • Yeah, thats true but framework solved this with LPCAMM2 modules, which have much higher write speeds that sodimm. And just because "few actually upgrade it" doesnt mean all ram should be soldered, as having unsoldered ram caters to a completely different consumer market.
