  • Fuck, every night I come into work, there's always handfuls of people that has everything on loudspeaker.

    Phone conversations - take that shit elsewhere! I don't need to hear your conversation! Some dude flipping over a bunch of TikTok or YouTube Short videos so fast that they auto-play and sound like one long stream Some people repeating videos over and over for all to hear

    I don't even use loudspeaker because everytime I use it, people claim they have a hard time hearing me and there's so much interference.

  • Teeth has got to be one of the most disrespected and undervalued parts of your body. Your body's other bones can heal but then it's like "fuck your teeth, I'm not doing shit about them". And then we got health insurance companies who have the gall to not consider teeth an important part of your body that should be covered, got to get it separately and the costs are fundamental.

    I mean, you smile with these things and they are key responsible for how you digest food, by chewing on it before swallowing. You can't just swallow whole pieces of food without risk of choking on them at somepoint.

    There's just no excuse to 'not being politically aware' when you always will have ample time to research about the candidates. You can't just fucking go into the voting booths and just fill in the boxes of the candidates based on your party alignment then come out after voting being all like "I wasn't politically aware" when they see the damage being done. But that's what they did, that's what majority of those 70+ million idiots did.

  • I believe there is some huge level of insecurity among people that make them act that way. It has to be. It's their poor way of coping in a world they probably didn't have any plans in how to navigate in, so why not just be a bastard online? It gives them a sense of superiority and power I guess, as false as it is.

    If you're having to go around and mindlessly pick arguments with people, be an asshole and try to tell them how you're better than them? You're most likely not better than them. You've only sunk down several levels yourself.

If you want to argue with someone online, go do it in DMs or wherever else. Not at the expense of the community, nobody here usually comes to read sissy slapfights that usually escalate into insults and escalates into spite-reporting which drives mods/admins angry.

    The Fediverse should be learning as to what not to be. This kind of behavior was very frequent on Reddit and still continues today. There should be an end to that kind of thing.

    People just want a browser that is privacy-focused, ad-blocking by nature and doesn't break anything that people try to use like services to pay bills through and even trying to view important stuff like through a health portal.

    But people in Mozilla, Microsoft and Google have different ideas and ambitions that work against that. Whether it is AI-driven, catering to advertisers, breaking things when they decide to change something that nobody asked them to change and whatnot. That's why everyone is constantly looking for alternatives. They just want out of the bullshit.
