SE Minnesota is weird. There's pockets of conservatives then REALLY blue areas. But the further west you go, it's all MAGAt territory. Thankfully not nearly as populated but fucked up none the less.
Ahhhhhh, that's a much more intriguing question. You do have a limit to how many data points you can fit on a chart. Monthly average allows you to go back much further but with less insight.
I would assume you would get a much rounder example if you sampled weekly.

Another telling sign? The traffic passing by must have contained MAGA. It was, at least, alive in rural Minnesota. Those are the people who have the massive equipment nearly always.
I don't know why they pass, but they clearly don't want to be recognized as the one who helped ICE out.
I firmly believe Minnesota was targeted because of Walz and the fact that the state has never voted for a modern GOP presidential candidate. It's retribution. And if there is one thing I think even the MAGAts don't appreciate its when they are caught in the crossfire.
It's in a different part of the metro from the current actions taking place, and that facility has had protests since October. It is heavily guarded. We aren't getting in there.
