  • I struggle with Scottish, but I think that's because they have a lot of slang mixed into the typical English words. If they took those out, I would hope I would get the rhythm. Japanese accents can sometimes be hard, but most of the time I have no issue. That might be a speed issue as well. I think exposure has a ton to do with it.

  • President Donald Trump took an unannounced trip to the Lincoln Memorial to see the Reflecting Pool after he had it coated in a color he calls “American flag blue.” He did more than just see it — the president was driven across the new coating before he got out of his SUV to make a statement. The new blue coating will hide the pool's gray stone, a color Trump said was “never good.” The project cost nearly $2 million, he said.

  • Both you and OP would never be thought of as a non-english speaker. You guys really picked it up.

  • Thanks, I'll look at this side of things too and add her to the list.

  • Oh wow, I'll look into that and update the classic if I find anything. Thanks.

  • IRL I might just have an unorthodox, even ignorant, way of looking at things. Which often leads me to be in the minority opposition. So yeah, wouldn’t hurt to be a better communicator lol

Or you might be smarter than them on that topic too. Imagine that first guy making a working machine that can read your mind for video games (I have articles that can explain that, but I can't search for them now). Maybe don't look at it as wrong vs right or ignorant vs knowledgeable, but look at it as a 2 way learning process.

  • It also depends on whether it's real life or online. Online especially, it's harder to tell if they're discussing with you in good faith or they're trolling you (depending on the topic, of course). If it's not good faith, leave a clarifying comment and leave.

Don't be afraid of getting it wrong or misunderstanding someone. That's exactly why there is a discussion. Just admit it, take the loss, and learn from it.

  • FBI interviewed individuals who accuse Amy Coney Barrett faith group of abuse

This one is just a bad look, not corruption.

  • that some of these cases occurred among Afghan evacuees transported to the U.S.

    does not equal

Last outbreak we had in Virginia tracked back to an unvaxed Afghani family. We need to push on entry we vax everyone.

  • Provide sources when you spew that shit. It can't be fox or equal since they've already said they're an entertainment company, look it up.

  • Capital One Financial (COF.N), hit back on Friday against a lawsuit over its decision to close ‌the Trump Organization's bank accounts years ago, stating that it did so after a review by anti-money laundering experts.

The disclosure marks the first time a bank has formally tied money laundering concerns to U.S. President Donald Trump's family business. Capital One is seeking to dismiss the case by casting doubt on claims of illegally debanking — or denying services on religious or political grounds — the Trump Organization.

  • It's the same headline, I just took out the democrat part and clarified his name. Also, the media scrutiny part is hilarious and confirming what I'm saying about the AP. Last comment.

Also, it’s not the abuse claims that are mounting… it’s the focus on them. The original headline is accurate, and yours isn’t.

  • That headline sucks. Again AP?

Democrats see a chance to flip a seat as focus on abuse claims mounts against Ohio Rep. Max Miller

    vs

Abuse claims mount against Republican US Rep from Ohio, Max Miller, before his election.

  • He was around during the Vietnam war, he could handle it.

  • No, I just forgot. Dude, you definitely get your badge for the meme police. It's not that serious.
