  • Alright, I'll bite. What would one use instead of LinkedIn

I am not a big fan of it myself, but it's been providing me insight on the corporate world. I have had great job-seeking experience there, especially with the Easy Apply feature.

Recently, tho, it's been shitty, especially with all the avalance of AI slop, both as content as well as job requirements.

I'd like to know if there's a less shitty alternative.

  • Damn, all this retro hype is crazy (and cool)!

  • Also done drugs while being minor. It was fun, but I wouldn't do it again!

  • Sadly, yes.

  • Lmao, did that fucker really think he'd just get away with people saying "oh no~"?

  • ... of smoke

  • I hope this will inspire countless Australians to know their judo well.

  • You don't think they're doing that as I'm writing this??

  • Oh thank fuck

  • Why are you asking about US when Japan got all that highschool themed stuff?

  • As others mention, it's most likely made of PVC or PU. The best way to to take care of it is to throw it away and replace it with real leather, preferably the full-grain one.

  • who are you then?

  • don't do it, dude...

  • If they're pragmatic, they'd wait to confirm the requirement. Currently, they're more on the proactively bootlicking side than pragmatic.

Location is needed to set timezone. As for real name and email, they're both tied to history.

  • I get that systemd also manages user data. I still fail to see how it needs that DoB.

  • It doesn't. It just needs some name to display on the welcome screen and doesn't know what else to call it.

  • Enlighten us then. Why would an operating system management tool need to know the age of its user?

  • "Good job, me!"
