That's a game selection issue IMO. Busy people shouldn't play games they don't have the time to get invested into. AAA design and marketing has pushed this idea that every game has to be this big 100 hour open world RPG narrative adventure, but there's so much good stuff out there that's over in less time or doesn't demand huge play sessions.
There's only a handful of games worth playing that a 10 year old mid-range computer can't play anyway. I don't see the point of upgrading for Indianna Jones or COD.
I thought it was one of the better LTT videos for sure. Torvalds is much better on camera than he claims to be and it was interesting to see his outlook on a broad range of questions.
Maybe if they have you the mouse for free a sub fee a per month would be reasonable. But it's a mouse.

I feel the same way about social media Echo Chambers. Being surrounded by people who think the same as you makes you less competent at being genuinely critical of your own worldview.
Does having an app on the desktop PC do this for you basically? If I lost my phone today but signal was still installed on my PC. Wouldn't that be a backup?
Yep, have been using and currently using Nova for the last 8 years I think. Suuucks to see it go as I couldn't find a viable search based launcher like Nova when it was sold.
