    Why do you think the only US brand available in France is Ford? Because they are the only ones who managed to stay despite a lack of subsidies. Chevrolet tried to enter the French market a few years ago, they closed shop and said "fuck it."

  • GrapheneOS is actually the most bland stock ROM you can find, and it's amazing for that. Android without Google. Some people complain that banking applications may not work, but it's highly specific to a country and that bank.

    I have no complaint and no problem so far, it's the best ROM I have ever used.

  • I had a Zip drive with a 386 and it was really good for backups. 100 MB instead of 1.44 MB! But it was painful to setup and slow as hell. It was only good for serious companies or pirates I guess.

  • Same answer. You now have 2 devices, 2 batteries to charge, twice the volume in your pocket. iPod = Android + VLC. Nostalgia is stupid sometimes.

    I compress everything from FLAC to Opus, and I have way more content than an iPod. Also the iPod cannot read the Opus format unless you're prepared to install an alternative OS.
