  • Interestingly the term "gaslighting" is often cited in the film "Gaslight" as a person slowly changing the gas light level in the house and convincing an occupant that the level is still the same. This never happens in the film. The "tricking" part in the film has nothing to do with the gas lamp and it changing is completely unintentional (yet still important).
