  • Dude that fruit salad is amazing. She also turned me on to mango and avocado together in the same book. She's wonderful. Also, Brooke Williamson has a charred red cabbage with nuoc chom in her book, seriously so good.

  • Pandas and kangaroos come to mind immediately. Probably every marsupial would make the cut here too.

  • I have 2 who panic about everything. So. Fun. Lol!

  • It really is magic. Cooking in general, really. I love the Thanksgiving ordeal too! The rituals involved in cooking are so lovely.

  • Not done watching yet, but im definitely intrigued! Thanks for the share!

  • Ya know, im not sure I've ever had orange with turkey, I bet its delicious! And a rotisserie would be a ton of fun to play with.

  • Chili is a pinnacle dish for sure, i could eat it every day. If youre interested in experimenting with an idea, my partner and I won a chili contest with a poblano chicken chili verde. Basically a roasted poblano soup with braised chicken and white beans added. Plenty of cumin too. Super tasty!

  • Oh shit I'd love to get into that someday, don't have the ability in my one bedroom apartment lol but it seems like such a rewarding process!

  • Finally someone has laid this out in a clear manner. Thank you.

  • From another comment of mine...Nigella Lawson's Minestrone in Minutes.

3 cups broth, 1 cup tomato sauce, 1/2 cup soup pasta (orzo, ditalini, etc.), 1 can of white beans. Throw it all in a pot and cook until pasta is done. Season however. Herbs, a parm rind if you have one, a garlic clove or powder, red pepper flakes etc.

Easy af, quite healthy considering its all pantry items, and super satisfying. Its grown up spaghettios essentially and super easy to scale up to feed a crowd. Its my favorite "I dont wanna cook" meal.

  • Read an article a bit ago. Take away: Millennials drink the most but largely kicked the nicotine thing. Gen Z have brought back nicotine in a big way, even causing a resurgence in chewing tobacco. Its all just homosapiens coping, so I say pick your poison and keep doing your best.

  • The red light situation is insane since then. People would always push it a bit here and there, but now i routinely see people with a red fly through an intersection after people with the green light have already entered the intersection. Social media has convinced simpletons that because they see "movies" of their own life on their devices that they have plot armor. And it will take a serious accident to make them learn otherwise. Its frightening as fuck to share the road with people like that.

  • Thanks for introducing me to rougail! That sounds so fucking tasty

  • The thumbnail itself is the silliest ai shit. So his shirt becomes his arm then turns into his shirt at the wrist. And thats why these idiots are so mad. They are too stupid to see how actively bad it all is, but that's your fault for being perceptive, not theirs for being a compulsory idiot. These people are so lucky breathing doesn't require critical thought.

  • Welp

  • No need to wonder. You are spot on.

  • I know you said software, but I would like to suggest a musical instrument. They still require learning a new language and typically provide a huge level of self satisfaction. A cheap keyboard or guitar can provide literally thousands of hours of study.

  • To believe anything these companies claim about their model is to demonstrate you're a gullible simpleton. You're exactly the type of non-critical thinker they need to thrive.

  • This is way tall yall! Be careful!
