Ive been thinking about this for a while, but I imagined it could become hell on earth, thanks for the warning! It will keep the idea away from my head for another week or so
No, too expensive. I wish I could but it doesn't make sense financially for me right now, it is much cheaper to buy openrouter credits from time to time
At work Cursor with Sonnet or Composer and very very few times Opus.
At home I can't afford any of that so I use opencode and try to use super cheap models in openrouter and very few times to save money, I just delegate simple straightforward, tedious tasks to gemini flash or deepseek
Actually, I saw this meme before and I didn't notice the alien has four fingers. Do we use base 10 because we have that number of fingers??? Is there really a proof of that?
For some reason Grafana started to sync roles with my IdP (google) and now my own user keeps getting a read only role, so I decided to take this opportunity to finally move away from google and start hosting keycloak instead.
It was a busy week so I could not get the time to finish it yet.
My first services were running on an old laptop from 2006/2007 standing on an old leather chair in a corner of a room. The laptop was standing on four old and used skateboard wheels so there was some space between the laptop and the leather.
Top 1 for me would be a strong backup mechanism, and by that I mean something that is tested. Currently I have restic in place but I don't even know if in case of a disaster the backups are ok.
And considering my lack of time, I would be happy with just that.
No joke, I once met a guy like this in an indie game developers meetup, and on top of that he was extremely vague about his idea because he told everyone he once managed to get a coder on board and "that rat wanted to take advantage of him and his idea", literally.
