  • A lot of his posts have been pulled from his blog so he at least doesn't want people to know his thoughts anymore, but he's never apologized.

He is a devout Catholic so assuming he has church aligned takes isn't a bad call.

    Opinions on Homosexuality

    Opinions on Rape/Abortion

  • My only complaint about Karl is he seems a bit like an ass, but that might be a taste thing. Some people like an aggressive, yet well researched, video.

  • I didn't, I hadn't written code before that.

  • I use Forgejo which is either forked from or built on Gitea

Super easy to set up it was a docker container and a cloudflared tunnel.

  • You don't understand. Phone screens are a lot smaller so you need less code to run them.

Have you even considered how greedy you are wanting to use up so many tokens?

  • Yeah you shouldn't be game deving with a scripting language. There's your problems!

  • I mean, I use GoToSocial, people like Sharkey or Akkoma.

Who knows, maybe someone would prefer twitter for some reason.

Plain old Mastodon does seem the better option though

  • I'm shocked Gab is still around.

I used a spam email address to subscribe to that guys mailing list and every time I use that email to sign up for something sketchy, I see he's still sending 3-9 emails a day with rants and updates.

You'd think owning a social media would entail cryptic ranting on the platform and not a mailing list

  • I always wondered how these guys make it through life.

I understand its a position of authority and an air of confidence is necessary at all times, but gods damned dude

"You had a phone in your right hand"

shows a complete lack of a right hand

"...You sure you don't have a hand?"

  • Damn, that's overt.

  • Selfhosted @lemmy.world

    Kubernetes for beginers?

  • Personally, I think we have too much data on our own health habits.

Like it's cool that we can record that data if needed, but smart watches, rings, and things make us track too much info for a none medical professionals. Like I, and most people I know, barely understand what our blood pressure readings mean.

Its good to be mindful of your health, but genuinely, a food journal and a poop journal would be more useful for your more immediate health and asking an LLM to process that data into trends would be easier to do and more useful for you and your doctor.
