  • I think so too. Sometimes I have the feeling he does experience something, not the same way as humans do but there is something there. But then I think it’s probably my ADHD ass projecting since that’s what happens to me, most neurotypical interactions don’t make sense to me, but unlike Data I don’t even bother trying to understand. Already did my fair share of masking before being diagnosed.

  • Soong created a chip with the full spectrum of human emotion, put it on Lore, gave Lore no means of control said emotions, and then acts surprised when Lore goes full psycho? Dude never studied history? Why did I think people take so many anti depressants and shit? With Portugal being #1 consumer on Europe. I’d be surprised if Lore didn’t went psycho! Poor guy. And if Data ever gets emotions if he doenst go psycho is because he had time to process the world before being flooded by said emotions. Like humans do, they are born and learn to process more complex emotions as they grow up, or should … but that’s another story
