  • Nice, when I used subsonic I had snapcast setup. Thats now part of music assistant, an in home assistant

  • I see, that is the bit I miss from subsonic

  • You know jellyfin does music right?

  • This post is from my Lemmy instance, I can see this thread just fine :)

  • As a self hoster and a dad, I opted to use SMS and Google chat. Google chat on a kids account will only message contacts you know

  • Like you, using my security cameras. Riolink seems to have the loudest audio of the 2 I use. The other is a Unifi UVC G3 I had from work

  • OMG, birdnet-go is amazing. I had setup birdnet-pi, till an update to either docker or birdnet-pi broke it.

Now using birdnet-go and the stats are insane, this is just the last week

  • That's about right, you don't often hear the good things only the bad.

IT is a similar thing, you only know when it doesn't work. Nothing to indicate it's sort most of the time

  • On Mac, iterm has a highlight to copy feature that I love and miss when I have to use someone else's mac

  • Not a windows only thing, I have a Mac and I end up pressing command+c 20 times too

  • Not read all the below posts, but yes a /25 is the 192.168.0.0 subnet.

A single IP is /32 so 192.168.0.10/32 would only allow that IP access.

Change the root exports to /32 from /24 and then only 192.168.0.10 can access everything

  • I once ran subsonic in jukebox mode with snapcast to make it multi room, I know home assistant has music assistant that can also use snapcast to do multi room.

  • Does cloud flare not do that?

They get certs so must have a way to get any kind of cert

  • I tried authelia when it was new and could get it to work right, so switched to keycloak.

  • Have you seen glow?

It makes markdown look like it should on the terminal

  • is your server in the same subnet as your router? or are you using a delegated subnet from your ISP?

  • More freeBSD

  • Oh you still need to ditch android, as Google is going the way of apple. Not sure what I will do for a new phone right now.

But as android has a Linux kernel, the amount of Linux things is amazing

  • You do know that android is Linux under the hood right?

So we have a Linux phone now, it's just got a crappy front end on it
