  • Upfront I want to say I think the comic is funny, don't get me wrong. That being said, I've been playing TTRPGs for 25 years and I've seen some rough stuff play out at the table under the guise of "it's what my character would do." Like, underlying garbage people should be in therapy for. In many of those cases the problem players were ghosted or straight up kicked out of the group or they were basically the reason the group fizzled

  • I did quite a bit of app dating at one point and I'm basically average (5'11) or slightly above for a guy in the US. I was honest about my height in profiles and listed exactly how tall I am when measured at a physical exam with my shoes off. Mostly, women didn't care. However, there were several times when I went on a date and the girl said some variation of "it's nice you didn't exaggerate your height, a lot of guys do."
