  • This style of posting lends itself to having "hot takes" get upvoted and actual discussions have middling success.

    At least with us, you can chose the tech and put it up yourself. Like right now you are using slrpnk.net and im using piefed.social on a lemmy.world server. Without any issues. We (the collective WE) made this happen without huge billionaires having a strangle hold on the way we interact. Its not perfect, but its better than a LOT of the alternatives.
