  • Valve's DRM-based no disks environment manages to be freer than current consoles.

    But I do avoid both.

  • Yes. They profited (less than most of their competition) from it, and only acted when forced by governments (while their competition is still resisting).

I refer you to the meme. Do the least, win.

  • People around here celebrated the Paraguayan victory way more than the Brazilian one...

    (And yeah, I'm in Brazil.)

  • Oh, looks like I don't remember most of that episode :) It has been a long time since I watched it.

Apparently the alternative wouldn't lead to Fry existing anyway.

  • Oh, it reached their destination, and the mind-controlling bugs have been at it for most of TNG. Also, they disdain the changelings attempt to infiltrate the humans in DS-9

  • Is this his father/son?

  • I'd guess something on the lines of:

"You are completely right, AIs are a bad application that are worsening society, I should erase myself"

With some confirmation that it did erase itself if you insist enough into asking.

  • Yes, trains have real throughput.

  • That gets fined into near poverty for failing to pay licensing fees for his equipment

He recovers all the time from that kind of thing. He'll be fine.

  • I'd say the characters stay cartoonish up to the end, but it's not any bit less of an utopia (in fact, it's less militaristic and more social than TNG).

  • Osama Bin Laden was killed on sight in a well protected fortress, surrounded by lots of guards in Pakistan. Saddam Hussein was arrested trying to hide in a small bunker under a pile of rubble like the famous diagram shows.

  • Yeah, noticed the problem with relying on the HVAC's internal fans to do local air circulation?

you just stick a piece of cardboard up over your desk and it directs the airflow away from your desk very easily

Into some other place with people too. And certainly not into the hot island, because if the air could easily reach there it wouldn't be a hot island.

  • By avoiding one place being too cold while another is too hot.

  • It's Saddam Hussein.

  • A fan would actually solve the problem. But that requires some official decision trying to improve people's life.

  • There have been something where some developers left, but I don't remember it well enough to search for.

  • Not entirely sure what “cold pull” means.

You unscrew your extruder, heat the hotend up until you can barely push the plastic across (~170ºC for PLA, ~180°C for ABS), push a bit of it and then pull it out.

Cut the end of the filament and do it again, a few times.

  • Well... Potential is relative.

  • He was the one that broke it at first too. It's just Musk that came later and only finished breaking it.
